Yatta the Piñata, also known as Yatta, is one of the 33 playable Toons in Dandy's World, added on March 14th, 2025. She is available to be bought in Dandy's Store.

Appearance

Yatta is a piñata with a vibrant colour palette. She has two piñata points on her head that stick straight up and resembles horns, with strands of ribbons consisting of sky-blue and bright yellow. Her face is mostly covered in sky-blue and bright yellow, with a smaller dash of pink in the middle of her face, with a circular form resembling the letter M. A simple, toothy grin with three teeth stretches across her face. Her arms are mostly bright yellow, with 2 pink and sky-blue stripes forming two bracelet-like markings residing near her hands; Yatta's legs have a similar pattern. Her body contains colourful stripes of pink, sky-blue, and bright yellow, reminiscent of the traditional paper fringe of a piñata. She has four long tails, which are a slightly darker pink, flat, and the 2 upper tails are slightly longer than the lower two.

Personality

Yatta is a crazy, generous, hyper, and loud Toon, always putting her friends in a positive light and thinking "highly" of them. As seen in conversations with Astro and Teagan, Yatta is jittery and hates keeping still on top of being somewhat impatient, which is shown in one of her interactions with Connie. She also doesn't fall easily for tricks, as seen in Gigi's dialogue with her.

Additionally, Yatta is more attentive and clever than she initially appears, managing to pick up on an interest Shelly has (outside of dinosaurs) from Tisha and bringing it up to her, or managing to turn one of Shrimpo's insults back on him. However, her behavior can make other Toons concerned for her.

Yatta is obsessed with candy; it is quite likely that she eats candy excessively, based on her interactions with Sprout. She also seems to come off as highly ignorant — at least of some social conventions — as some Toons show dislike on how she suddenly pops up in conversations without warning or occasionally scares them with her habit of crawling around in Gardenview's vent system (shown in her interactions with Shelly and Toodles). As seen in Blot's conversation, Yatta stores her candy in vents.

Mastery Strategies

• For the first task, find a friend to play Looey with you and progress through the run. If you can’t do that, find a run with a Looey and try to protect them or progress through the run quickly. Joining a ‘Circus Troupe only’ run increases the chances a Looey could join, so either host or join one.
• For the second, third, and fifth task, go do runs and survive many Floors and pick up many Items as you can.
• For the fourth task, just go into a solo run and try to survive as long as possible until floor 10.

Strategies

Yatta is a good All-Around Toon, due to her high Movement Speed and Extraction Speed, along with her low Stealth. Her Passive Ability, Piñata Party, is useful for both herself and other players. What Candy Items she can drop is based off of a probability system. The items she can drop and their rarities are:

Box O' Chocolates have a 5.88% chance to drop, whereas all other Candy items each have a 11.76% chance to drop. If you are on a Machine and see Yatta nearby, consider priming the Machine and having Yatta finish it to activate her Passive Ability a lot easier, as this will give your team access to more items.

Since she has an abysmal Stamina capacity, saving items such as Chocolates is rather decent as it can increase her Stamina and Walk Speed for a short time, and other Stamina related items such as Pop or Bottle O' Pop is helpful to accommodate with her Stamina. Voting Well-Paced or Endurance can also help with her low Stamina, giving her a total of 120 stamina, making her near 2 star Stamina, which is 125.

Having a Yatta in your team with a Sprout can help with the Tape earning, as she can drop worthless candy for the Sprout to pick up for extra Tapes, or candy that has use and which grants more Tapes, like Box o' Chocolates or Jawbreakers, helping him to heal Toons faster.

Recommended Trinket combinations for Yatta:

Distraction

• Dog Plush/Options
  • This Trinket unlocks the role of distractor to the holder (19.3 walk speed). Here are some options to pair Dog Plush with.
    • Speedy Shoes, to out-walk fast twisteds and gain the ability to loop Twisted Pebble (20.2 walk speed);
    • Clown Horn or Ribbon Spool, to outrun all Twisteds (except for Pebble) in Panic Mode when active (21.2 walk/30.3 run speed);
    • Vee's Remote or Magnifying Glass, to help with floor progression.

• Pink Bow/ Speedy Shoes and Ribbon Spool/ Clown Horn
  • Both sets are intended for survival and luring Twisteds, reducing the pressure on Yatta's low Stamina and enabling her to be a backup distractor.

Extraction

• Magnifying Glass/ Participation Award
  • This set speeds up machine completion by maximizing Skill Check extraction. Paired with Yatta's already good mobility and high Extraction Speed, she becomes an excellent extractor.

Ability

• Glazed Fondant Bag/Any
  • If you're playing Yatta as an extractor, using this Trinket to extend the effects of the amount of candy left by Piñata Party can be a viable strategy.

• Bone/Any
  • When completing a machine Yatta’s passive, Piñata Party, will cause her to drop 2 random candies. The Bone trinket will make you faster by 25% for 4 seconds whenever you pick up any of the candies Yatta has dropped. This can also help you escape from Twisteds since her passive activates when getting hit.

Trivia

• Yatta has two UGC Items, being Yatta's Head and Yatta's Tail.
• Yatta is the first Toon to be showcased in a thumbnail who is not running away from a Twisted. Instead, she is shown working on a machine, next to Twisted Razzle & Dazzle.
• Yatta was meant to be released in a later update, but she was released early as an apology from Qwel for not getting the reworked Main Characters' models finished for the 0.7.1 update apart from Pebble's reworked model along with his twisted counterpart.
• Yatta is the first Toon to not have an information card on their release because of her early release. Her information card was later added in a reworked map.
• Yatta is based on the traditional 7-point piñata, which has a cultural meaning of breaking free from sin and temptation.
• Yatta is part of a three-Toon circus act simply known as the Circus Troupe, with her role being that of an acrobat. The other two members are  Blot (a mime) and Looey (a clown).
• When shielded by a fatal attack using Savory Charm, Yatta will not drop candy.
• Yatta was planned to say a line in Spanish upon being added to the game, but because of Roblox's automatic translations, the line could've possibly been miscommunicated. However, Qwel thought it would be safer to wait until she can have more official translations in the future before adding any other languages to characters.
• It's hinted by Qwel that Yatta may be Hispanic, making her the first Toon to have a confirmed ethnicity.
• Yatta crawls around through Gardenview's ventilation system in order to get around, as proven in her interactions with Shelly, Toodles, and Vee. Some Toons can hear her in the walls.
  • Yatta is very flexible in her movement which is how she is able to fit into the vents, as proven in her interaction with Vee.
• She is the second Toon to be released by herself, the first and third being Gigi and Blot.
• Currently there is a bug where any Candy dropped by Yatta can get stuck inside of walls, inside of the floor, on top of machines and other objects, or under objects.
• According to an interaction with Scraps, Yatta loves cats.
• Yatta has a secret stash of candy somewhere within Gardenview, according to her and Gigi in their dialogue with each other.
  • Her interaction with Blot reveals that she stores her candy in the vents.
• Yatta is the fifth non-Main Character with a 5 stat, the first being Scraps, the second being Glisten, the third being Gigi, the fourth being Connie and the sixth being Blot.
• The strings on Yatta's back are tails, according to Twisted Yatta's description and an interaction between Looey and Boxten.
• Yatta is the first Toon to have a skin that can be earned through a code, that being the "Colorful April" skin. The skin is planned to return in April 2026, but as a Gamepass instead.
  • Qwel mentioned that she plans to add the other Yatta skins named "Guess What I Eat" and "Looey Color" in a future update.
• Yatta's extraction animation is a reference to Looey's bugged extraction animation, which was later fixed. This bug had Looey bouncing up and down while working on a Machine.
• Yatta's name is derived from the word "Piñata" and the phrase "Yada yada".
• Her code to obtain "Colorful April" is a reference to the skin as it appears with a tag mentioning "April 1".
• Before the April Fool's update, she was the only Toon with 20% Skill Check chance.
  • This has been fixed, and her Skill Check chance is now 25%.
• As of Version 0.8.4, Yatta's text box is now pink instead of yellow, to make it easier to see who is talking in the interaction with Looey.
• Yatta is the most expensive Toon whose Twisted counterpart is in the Common tier.
  • Additionally, she is the only Toon whose twisted counterpart is in the common tier with 3 requirements.
• It is likely that Yatta and Goob are friends, due to them excitedly calling each other's names in both their interactions.
• Yatta is the second toon to have a unique number of stars in each statistic. The first being Connie and the third being Blot.
• Yatta is the second toon to have 2 different idles, the first being Glisten, the third being Bassie and the fourth being Blot.
• Yatta is slightly different compared to the other Circus Troupe members.
  • She is the only female in the Circus Troupe.
  • Her requirements do not need a toon’s mastery.
  • She does not wear any clothing.
  • Her first skin was not released in a major update (Looey got his in the Christmas update and Blot will get his in the next update in the Show Time Pack).
