Whispering Flower is one of the 12 usable Holiday Trinkets found in Dandy's World and is one of the 40 Twisted Trinkets. Added on April 18, 2025, alongside
Egg Radar,
Glazed Fondant Bag, and
Scrapbook. It was obtained by achieving 100% Research on
Twisted Bassie.
Appearance
The Whispering Flower seems to be two flowers connected to one another by a light green stem. The front most flowers is light pink with sharp edges and a slightly darker pink shading in the middle, along with having three light green leaves under it. The second flower is behind the first, having rounder, droopy, light purple-blue petals. What seems to be an eye with white sclera and a black pupil emerges from the center.
Strategies
Research Capsules and Event Currencies are not highlighted. Items and
Tapes are. Items are given a white border that is visible through objects and tinted red, making it difficult to distinguish some of them.
This Trinket is not very helpful unless you often leave Items behind and miss them. Its value is slightly increased when playing solo, since the number of Items on the ground are far more scarce compared to a full lobby, though you are better off using other Trinkets that give you more consistent value.
However, this Trinket finds use in some cases:
- When playing as
Bassie, her speed and extra item slot give her more opportunities to benefit from this Trinket. You can also use it to find items you hid for later if you're concerned about theft. When playing with Bassie teammates, this Trinkets may also help users locate "emergency gifts" said teammates make during Panic Mode, as they can be easily obscured. - When playing as
Sprout or
Teagan, this Trinket can help you find leftover tapes or items to grind which can allow the former to heal the team and the latter to heal herself. The fact that Whispering Flower activates during Panic Mode means that taking rare items is easier to justify, as when playing Sprout you'll already know if your teammates can or can't reach the items in time and thus whether they're okay to take.
Yatta's ability can sometimes fling items out of sight. This Trinket allows the user to detect these items more easily. As these are the items most likely to be missed by teammates and
Speed Candies/
Boxes o' Chocolates can be produced, these instances can be useful.- Distractors can get some use out of this Trinket. Due to them usually being in isolated spots far away from the Elevator in Panic Mode, they may have to traverse long distances to get to the Elevator, so this Trinket can help them locate any items left behind, which is especially helpful if you don't have backup distractors/healers as the opportunities to find items are more limited.
- This Trinket may help with certain item Masteries.
- If Panic Mode activates without warning and you are far from the Elevator, if you have
Bone equipped with this Trinket, you can get a boost to allow yourself to get to the elevator. - It is not recommended to use this trinket if playing as
Pebble, as his passive essentially defeats the purpose of this trinket.
- The same goes for
Coal as her active ability is very similar. While she does have a rather long cooldown, this trinket would be very situational and not very practical for her.
- The same goes for
Trivia
- This is the third Trinket to activate in Panic Mode, the other two being the
Alarm and
Vanity Mirror.
- This is also the first Trinket to not be Speed-related and activate during Panic Mode.
