Twisted Sprout is a Main Character Twisted found in Dandy's World. Completing 100% of his research awards the Savory Charm.

Appearance

Twisted Sprout has an appearance similar to his regular counterpart, but noticeably taller and almost completely consumed by Ichor. His left arm is much larger than the other, and drips ichor. His leaves are noticeably longer, covering one of his eyes, and his scarf is longer, ichor stained, and pointy.

Abilities

When Sprout spots a Toon, he will summon a puddle of Ichor at that Toon's position containing a tendril that, shortly after being summoned, will attack anyone who comes too close to it. This has a cooldown of 10 seconds, and the tendril disappears after 15 seconds. The tendril is surrounded by a pool of Ichor that shows it's range. Due to the cooldown, only two tendrils can spawn at maximum.

Sprout's footsteps sound similar to walking on grass or dry fallen leaves.

Strategies

Since Sprout is capable of summoning immovable tendrils, vacate any Machines when he draws near so that he doesn't spawn one on top of them and stall you/harm you during a Skill Check. Avoid cramped or narrow hallways when distracting him so you have room to move/change course, and try to keep multiple routes in mind. While distracting him in open areas, hug one side of either the island or outer walls so that when tendrils are summoned you have more space to avoid them (unless distracting other dangerous Twisteds). If done quickly and across the edges, it is possible to run through his tendrils without taking damage.

Since his abilities are physical, try to keep him away from Twisted Razzle & Dazzle so their attack radiuses don't intersect, as this could cause problems. Similarly to them, his tendril attacks can be avoided even if you step into the attack range circle if you're quick at leaving it.

Due to his slow speed, outrunning Sprout is much easier than with other Main Character Twisteds.

Tip: Try using Pink Bow, Speedy Shoes, and/or Dog Plush.

Be extra cautious during Blackouts- depending on your settings, his tendrils can be near-impossible to spot in the dark.

• Twisted Sprout is the third ever ranged Twisted, the first, second and fourth respectively being Twisted Scraps, Twisted Goob and Twisted Gigi.
  • Twisted Sprout is also the first ranged Main Character Twisted.
• He and Twisted Cosmo have matching claws made of Ichor, as confirmed on the Discord by Qwelver. [1]
• Twisted Sprout screeches when spotting the player and also occasionally emits low rumbles.
• Twisted Sprout is the tallest Twisted in the game. The second being Twisted Vee.
• The sounds used for Twisted Sprout's screeches and rumbles are the stalk and pain sound effects from Left 4 Dead's special infected Hunter variant.
• He is the third Twisted to have two attacks to damage Toons.
  • Due to having ranged attacks, Twisted Scraps and Twisted Goob also have two attacks, being the first and second Twisteds to do so.
• He is the second Twisted to have a possible area to damage Toons.
  • Twisted Razzle & Dazzle is the only other Twisted to have this trait.
• He is the first Twisted to appear on the Daily Twisted Board thrice in a row, being replaced by Twisted Flutter by Qwelver on the third time.
• Like Twisted Razzle & Dazzle, his physical attacks are capable of spawning in the elevator. They will not harm those in the safe zone.
• He has a short attack cooldown, unlike most Twisteds. This cooldown is one second compared to the usual three seconds.
