Twisted Eclipse is one of the 40 Twisteds in Dandy's World. She was introduced on October 10, 2025, alongside
Twisted Gourdy,
Twisted Ribecca, and
Twisted Soulvester. She is one of the 9 Rare Twisteds and one of 12 Holiday Twisteds and can spawn on any Floor during a Halloween Event.
Upon 100% completion of her Research, you will acquire the
Moon Pack Heirloom Trinket.
Appearance
Twisted Eclipse is similar to her
Toon counterpart, although with some notable differences. Her eyes have red sclera, black irises, and red slitted pupils. She has a longer, more prominent snout and her mouth is contorted into a sharp-toothed snarl, with Ichor staining the corners. She seems to have gone insane, her hunting instincts fully taking over, due to her facial expression showing such. She is taller and larger, the color of her fur is darker, and the now-red instead of sea pink-colored crescent moon on her forehead is dripping. She has lost the cloth around her shoulders and instead has a large tuft of fur surrounding her neck, extending down to her tail. Her paws are now huge Ichor claws, and the tip of her tail is stained with dripping Ichor. When chasing a Toon, her facial expression becomes more aggravated and her mouth opens.
Description
Twisted Eclipse is decently fast. Her ability to howl can be problematic if you're doing a solo. Her attention span is decent and she can be very annoying in public runs if people keep getting seen by her. Tread lightly with this one and make sure Twisteds such as
Twisted Pebble and
Twisted Vee don't get you in a bad spot because of her howl.
Strategies
Twisted Eclipse could be quite annoying due to her higher speed and ability, which leads other Twisteds towards her location. Because of this, it could attract dangerous Twisteds like
Twisted Dandy or
Twisted Pebble, so try to avoid her if Twisteds like those spawn. In case she does see you, immediately run away and find an island to remove Twisted Eclipse and the other Twisteds that were attracted. Note Twisted Eclipse uses her howl every time she aggros or switches aggro on a Toon. With her 9999 hearing radius, it is recommended to stay aware of it and avoid missing Skill Checks as to not attract her to the location of the player (save for when she's already chasing another Toon). Her very high detection range may be an issue to people who play as 1
Stealth Toons like
Brightney and
Gourdy, as they can easily aggro on her from afar.
However, her Ability is useful for distractors, such as
Pebble if his Active Ability is on cooldown and
Looey (if he doesn't have an
Air Horn in his inventory). She functions like a running Air Horn, triggering non-occupied Twisteds, which removes the time needed to round all the Twisteds up, though hearing ranges still apply.
Twisted Eclipse is much more annoying in solos due to the absence of a distractor resulting in Twisteds always wandering around unoccupied, making it more likely her howls will successfully call Twisteds over. This can also get really annoying on Floors with a higher Twisted count, and dangerous if there are difficult Twisteds like Twisted Pebble. In solo runs during Halloween, it's helpful to have a
Smoke Bomb handy, especially on Floors with more dangerous Twisteds, in order to negate the effects of Twisted Eclipse's howl, though they are one-time use.

Trivia
- Twisted Eclipse's ability works identically to a failed Skill Check on a Machine; it can't alert Twisteds if they are already in a chase and does not decrease Stealth, unlike
Pebble's Active Ability or an
Air Horn.
- This can be extremely helpful to distractors.
- Additionally, a Twisted's hearing range applies to this ability, being able to hear her at the same correlated distances (e.g a Twisted with a 9999 unit range, such as
Twisted Astro or
Twisted Vee would be alerted from everywhere on the map, much like any other auditory source).

- This can be extremely helpful to distractors.
- Twisted Eclipse could spawn on Dyle Map due to a former glitch where choosing
TIME'S UP on a multiple of 5 could add a Halloween Twisted of another rarity. Her howls attracted and even aggroed Twisted Dyle, making it extremely tedious and dangerous to complete the Floor. As of now, this bug has been fixed. - The bleeding red crescent moon on Twisted Eclipse's forehead is most likely a reference to real-life Blood Moons (also known as Red Moons), which is a phenomenon that occurs during a total lunar eclipse when the Moon appears red in the night sky.
- The term "Lunar Eclipse" also goes along with Eclipse's name.
- Blood Moons are also often associated with werewolves in fictional media.
- Twisted Eclipse's howling attracting nearby Twisteds is similar to how real-life wolves howl to inform their pack about something. In this case, Twisted Eclipse thinks of her fellow Twisteds as her own "pack", (similar to her
Toon counterpart's belief) informing them of a nearby Toon she's spotted. - Twisted Eclipse attracts Twisteds towards the location of where you were originally seen, so if you get away from there, the Twisteds won't see you.
