This is the main article for Trinkets. For the category, see Category:Trinkets.

Trinkets are modifiers that can be equipped by the player to provide unique effects. Up to two Trinkets can be equipped at any given time, however you can not change them while in a run. Most Trinkets can be obtained either via Dandy's Store in the lobby or by completing a Twisted's Research. The only exception is the Blushy Bat trinket for joining the Roblox group BlushCrunch Studios.

Loadouts are ways/a way to save different trinket pairs to be able to swap between before matches start. You can have up to 3 loadouts for trinket pairs.

Some Trinkets in Dandy's Store require some certain conditions to be met before they become available for purchase, much like certain Toons.

Trinkets are categorized by their purpose. (E.g. Extraction, Stealth, Stamina, Move Speed, Skill Check and Other)

Recommended Trinket Sets[]

This article/section's information is based on personal preferences from different players. Adding information that may prove better results is appreciated.

Ideal Trinket sets greatly depend on which Toon you choose to play as and your playstyle, but there are a few general options;

Recommended Skill Check-based trinkets include Participation Award and Magnifying Glass. These will add more completion value for hitting successful Skill Checks and increase their frequency, but will shrink the size of Skill Checks. Characters with a high Skill Check Value like Shelly or Gigi will benefit the most from this.

If you are playing as a Toon with a small Skill Check Window size, like Shrimpo or Cosmo, the Thinking Cap increases your Skill Check Size by 40 units.

Recommended Movement Speed-based trinkets include Dog Plush, Pink Bow, Speedy Shoes, Ribbon Spool, and Clown Horn. These buffs greatly benefit all Toons, but especially those with high movement speed, like Pebble, Looey, and Goob, however toons with low Movement Speed will not be greatly affected by the percentage of speed given. For example, Shrimpo only has 1 Movement Speed, meaning that if you were to put on Dog Plush, it would only grant one more point in Shrimpo's 10 point walk speed.

Walk-speed Trinkets are better for high-speed Toons, while run-speed Trinkets work best for Toons with high Stamina or low speed. Vanity Mirror is also a good choice for support Toons, low-speed Toons, and Toons with low Stealth.

Recommended Stamina-based trinkets include the Night Cap and Water Cooler. These Trinkets can be paired with a Toon with high Stamina, like Sprout, Scraps, and Bobette, or paired with a Toon with low Stamina, like Gigi and Shrimpo.

Generally, Trinkets that buff regeneration are best for high-Stamina Toons and Trinkets that increase maximum Stamina capacity work well with low-Stamina Toons.

Considering how, as of v0.6.1, the Diary Trinket is the only Trinket to consistently increase Stealth, that would be the best option for increasing it. Beware, Diary has no effect on Brightney; with 1 Stealth, equivalent to 0 units, any percentage increase is useless. This Trinket also actually decreases Shrimpo's Stealth, because multiplying a negative number by a >100% percentage produces a bigger negative number.

The Lucky Coin also has a chance of increasing Stealth if you feel like gambling. However, it is entirely luck based and only has a 1/5 chance of occurring. The same negative Stealth rule that affects Diary applies to Lucky Coin.

Stealth-increasing Trinkets are ideal for healers and non-distractors, but act as a detriment to distractors, who prefer low Stealth. Currently, the only Stealth-decreasing trinket is Coal, but it isn't viable as it also heavily reduces Movement Speed.

Recommended Extraction Speed based trinkets include Vee's Remote and Wrench. Trinkets that provide a flat bonus of completion can also be used to quickly finish dangerous Machines, so those are generally still a better pick.

Blue Bandana does not serve much value at all for most Toons, but it does reduce Skill Check Chance, which can be viewed as a positive if hitting a Skill Check is proving difficult for Toons like Cosmo or Shrimpo.

Trivia[]

  • There are currently 42 Trinkets present in-game but 4 are currently unavailable due to being limited time Holiday Trinkets.
  • In v0.2.0, several Trinkets were reworked and buffed/nerfed:
    • Night Cap used to fully restore Stamina when entering a new Floor, but decreased max stamina by 10%.
    • Bone used to increase both Walk and Run Speed by 25% when a new Floor arrives for 10 seconds.
      • Pull Toy now has the Bone's old ability; increasing both Walk and Run Speed by 25% when a new Floor arrives for 10 seconds instead of the Bone.
    • Ribbon Spool used to grant 10% more Walk and Run speed on odd numbered Floors instead of even numbered Floors.
    • Crayon Set used to start with three random items from the Uncommon tier instead of one. Dandy's Shop exclusive items were included.
    • Thinking Cap used to increase Skill Check window by 25 units.
    • Thermos used to restore 50 Stamina when entering a new Floor.
  • In v0.3.0, a lot of Trinkets were buffed. These buffs included:
    • Pop Pack not decreasing Stamina by 10%.
    • Thermos gaining 15% Stamina regeneration.
    • Fancy Purse not decreasing Extraction Speed by 3%.
    • Night Cap increased from 33% regeneration to 40% regeneration.
  • In v0.4.0, only one Trinket was changed, this being:
    • Diary, which used to increase Stealth by 2.5 units (1/2 ), now increases Stealth by 25%.
  • Trinkets that give a percentage buff are calculated with a compounding formula, this goes the same with Items which also give percentage buffs to a certain stat are calculated by (100% + Percentage%).
    • Due to this, Looey on 1 with the Dog Plush & Ribbon Spool or Clown Horn gives a walk speed multiplier of 69.4%, which gives a walk speed of 25.41, This results in the only build that can out-walk Twisted Pebble, who has a speed of 25.
    • Looey on 1 with the Movement Speed buff from Lucky Coin & Ribbon Spool or Clown Horn gives a run speed multiplier of 72.48%, which gives a run speed of 43.12, making him the fastest Toon in the game without any items and supports.
  • Sprout and Cosmo have matching Trinkets, forming a flower, or Dandy's head when joined.
  • The Diary was the only Stealth Trinket in the game as of v0.5.2, until Coal was added in v0.6.1.
    • Despite this, the Diary is still the only trinket to actually increase your Stealth. The Lucky Coin can also increase Stealth, though it's not guaranteed.
  • The Brick Trinket was the first Trinket to give a debuff to the player. The second Trinket is Coal (not to be confused with the character, whose trinket's Stealth debuff may be viewed as a positive).
    • Shrimpo's trinket giving you a debuff somewhat makes sense, giving the fact he is a challenge character and is meant to be difficult to play.
  • When Qwel was asked about the supposed leaks for Twisted Connie's Trinket, Qwelver created a doodle of Connie and a PNG of "Ghost Yogurt" as a funny little joke.
  • Currently, to buy all purchasable Trinkets, you would need 14,325 Ichor.
  • Both the Bone and Feather Duster activate when using Gigi's ability, even though you’re technically not picking up an item.
  • Blushy Bat is the only Trinket you can't get from Research or from buying with Ichor.
  • Peppermint Icing is, as of V0.6.1, the only Event Trinket that gives a buff.
  • Brick used to be the most disadvantageous Trinket in the game.
    • After V0.6.1 released, Coal took the spot as the most disadvantageous Trinket in the game.
  • Despite Coal affecting both the player's Stealth and Movement Speed, it is only categorized as a Stealth Trinket, the reason for this is currently unknown.
  • There are 4 only Trinkets that give players items in game, those being the Megaphone, the Pop Pack, the Fishing Rod, and the Crayon Set.
  • There are also only 2 Trinkets that give the player tapes upon joining a new run, those being the Coin Purse and the Fancy Purse.
  • The Blushy Bat is the only Trinket that players can get without playing the game at all, or when they join the game while in the group.
