This is the main article for Trinkets. For the category, see Category:Trinkets.

Trinkets are in-game modifiers that can be equipped by the player. Most of them provide unique effects to any Toon the player desires, while the others affect overall gameplay. Up to 2 Trinkets can be equipped at any given time, however you cannot change them once you enter a run (for the duration of said run). Most Trinkets can be obtained either via Dandy's Store in the Lobby or by completing a Twisted's Research. The only exception to this is the Blushy Bat Blushy Bat Trinket, which is obtained by joining the Roblox Group, BlushCrunch Studio. It is also the only Trinket that can be removed and re-added from your inventory at any time (by leaving and rejoining the group).

Loadouts are a mechanism used for saving different Trinket combinations to be able to quickly swap between each before a match starts. You can have up to 3 loadouts for Trinket pairs.

Some Trinkets in Dandy's Store require certain conditions to be met before they become available for purchase, much like certain Toons.

Trinkets are categorized by their purpose (E.g. Extraction, Stealth, Stamina, Movement Speed, Skill Check and Other).

Recommended Trinket Sets

Smart thinking! Sticker
This article/section's information is based on personal preferences from different players. Adding information that may prove better results is appreciated.

Ideal Trinket sets greatly depend on which Toon you choose to play as and your playstyle, but there are a few general options;

Recommended Skill Check-based Trinkets include Participation Award Participation Award and Magnifying Glass Magnifying Glass. These will add more completion value for hitting successful Skill Checks and increase their frequency, but will shrink the size of Skill Checks. Characters with a high Skill Check Value like Shelly Render Shelly or Gigi Render Gigi will benefit the most from this.

If you are playing as a Toon with a small Skill Check Window size, like Shrimpo Render Shrimpo, Bassie Render Bassie,Blot Render Blot or Cosmo Render Cosmo, these Trinkets may not be an ideal option unless you are able to hit extremely small Skill Checks. The Thinking Cap Thinking Cap may be a better option, since it increases your Skill Check Size by 40 units, or Paint Bucket Paint Bucket, as it increases Skill Check size, and increase chance too. Mime Makeup Mime Makeup can also be beneficial as it removes the danger of alerting Twisteds when you fail a Skill Check.

Recommended Movement Speed-based Trinkets include Dog Plush Dog Plush, Pink Bow Pink Bow, Speedy Shoes Speedy Shoes, Ribbon Spool Ribbon Spool, and Clown Horn Clown Horn. These buffs greatly benefit all Toons, but especially those with high Movement Speed, like Pebble Render Pebble, Looey Render Looey, Bassie Render Bassie, and Goob Render Goob, however Toons with low Movement Speed will not be greatly affected by the percentage of Speed given. For example, Shrimpo Render Shrimpo only has 1 Statistics Star Movement Speed, meaning that if you were to put on Dog Plush, it would only increase to 11 Walk Speed, not really helping with anything.

If the user has both Clown Horn and Ribbon Spool, it is not recommended to pair Dog Plush with Pink Bow, as the former combination outclasses the latter (10% boost to Walk Speed and Run Speed with Clown Horn and Ribbon Spool vs. 10% boost to Walk Speed, 7.5% boost to Run Speed with Dog Plush and Pink Bow).

Walk Speed Trinkets are better for high-speed Toons, while run speed Trinkets work best for Toons with high Stamina or low Movement Speed. For low Movement Speed Toons, the pairing of Pink Bow and Speedy Shoes is handy if you aren't proficient in managing Stamina, or find yourself in chases frequently.

Vanity Mirror Vanity Mirror is also a good choice for support Toons, low-speed Toons, and Toons with low Stealth.

Recommended Stamina-based Trinkets include the Star Pillow Star Pillow and Cooler Cooler. These Trinkets can be paired with a Toon with high Stamina, like Sprout Render Sprout, Scraps Render Scraps, Blot Render Blot and Bobette Render Bobette, or paired with a Toon with low Stamina, like Gigi Render Gigi Yatta Render Yatta, Gourdy Render Gourdy, and Shrimpo Render Shrimpo.

If you are not proficient in managing Stamina, prioritizing Movement Speed Trinkets may be a better choice, as you'll typically want to preserve Stamina exclusively for chases. In a situation like that, the speed boost could make a difference. Of course, there is no harm in using Trinkets from both categories, if you feel it helps.

Generally, Trinkets that buff regeneration are best for high-Stamina Toons and Trinkets that increase maximum Stamina capacity work well with low-Stamina Toons.

Considering how, as of v0.10.2, the Diary Diary Trinket is the only Trinket to consistently increase Stealth, that would be the best option for increasing it. Beware, for Diary has no effect on Brightney Render Brightney or Gourdy Render Gourdy; with 1 Statistics Star Stealth, equivalent to 0 units, any percentage increase is useless. This Trinket also actually decreases Shrimpo Render Shrimpo's Stealth, because multiplying a negative number by a >100% percentage produces a bigger negative number.

The Lucky Coin Lucky Coin also has a chance of increasing Stealth if you feel like getting a higher percentage increase. However, it is entirely luck based and only has a 1/5 chance of occurring. The same negative Stealth rule that affects Diary applies to Lucky Coin.

Stealth-increasing Trinkets are ideal for healers and non-distractors, but can be detrimental to distractors, who prefer low Stealth. Currently, there are only 2 Stealth-decreasing Trinkets: Coal (Trinket) Coal (Trinket) and Scrapbook Scrapbook, however, Coal isn't as viable as it also heavily reduces Movement Speed, but Scrapbook only helps if Toons have similar Stealth as the distractor.

Recommended Extraction Speed-based Trinkets include Vee's Remote Vee's Remote and Wrench Wrench. Trinkets that provide a flat bonus of completion can also be used to quickly finish dangerous Machines, so those are generally still a better pick.

Blue Bandana Blue Bandana does not serve much value at all for most Toons, but it does reduce Skill Check Chance, which can be viewed as a positive if hitting a Skill Check is proving difficult for Toons like Cosmo Render Cosmo, Bassie Render Bassie, Blot Render Blot or Shrimpo Render Shrimpo.

Lucky Coin Lucky Coin could also give Extraction Speed, however, a 12% boost is not a lot and it is not even guaranteed.

Trivia

  • There are currently 55 Trinkets present in-game, with 12 of them being currently unavailable to be collected due to being limited time Holiday Trinkets.
    • Currently, there are 5 Skill Check Trinkets, 10 Movement Speed Trinkets, 8 Stamina Trinkets (excluding Night Cap Night Cap which was removed), 3 Stealth Trinkets, 5 Extraction Speed Trinkets and 19 other miscellaneous Trinkets.
  • There have been many Trinkets that underwent changes over the game's existence.
    • Before v0.2.0, several Trinkets had different effects:
      • Night Cap used to fully restore Stamina when entering a new Floor, but decreased Stamina Capacity by 10%.
      • Bone Bone used to increase both Walk and Run Speed by 25% when a new Floor arrives for 10 seconds.
        • Pull Toy Pull Toy now has the Bone's old Ability; increasing both Walk and Run Speed by 25% when a new Floor arrives for 10 seconds instead of Bone.
      • Ribbon Spool Ribbon Spool used to grant 10% more Walk and Run speed on odd numbered Floors instead of even numbered Floors.
      • Crayon Set Crayon Set used to start the match with 3 random Items from the Uncommon tier. Dandy's Shop exclusive Items were included.
        • As of now, Fishing Rod Fishing Rod has a similar Ability, granting the player 3 random Items from the Common to Rare tiers (Dandy's Shop exclusive Items not included).
      • Thinking Cap Thinking Cap used to increase Skill Check Window by 25 units.
      • Thermos Thermos used to restore 50 Stamina when entering a new Floor.
    • In v0.3.0, a lot of Trinkets were buffed. These buffs included:
      • Pop Pack Pop Pack not decreasing Stamina by 10%.
      • Thermos gaining 15% Stamina Regeneration.
      • Fancy Purse Fancy Purse not decreasing Extraction Speed by 3%.
      • Night Cap increased from 33% Stamina Regeneration to 40% Stamina Regeneration.
    • In v0.4.0, only one Trinket was changed, this being:
      • Diary Diary, which used to increase Stealth by 2.5 units (1/2 Statistics Star), now increases Stealth by 25%.
    • In v0.9.1, one Trinket was changed, this being:
      • Night Cap, which was reworked into Star Pillow Star Pillow and buffed to 100% Stamina Regeneration instead of 40%.
    • In v0.10.0, one Trinket was changed, this being:
    • In v0.11.4, one Trinket was changed, this being:
      • Bone, which used to have no max, now caps at 40 units.
  • Trinkets that give a percentage buff are calculated with a compounding formula. This goes the same with Items which also give percentage buffs to a certain stat are calculated by (100% + Percentage%).
    • Due to this, Looey Render Looey on 1 Heart with the Dog Plush Dog Plush and Ribbon Spool or Clown Horn gives a Walk Speed multiplier of 69.4%, which gives a Walk Speed of 25.41. This results in the one of the only 2 builds that can outwalk Twisted Pebble Render Twisted Pebble, who has a Speed of 25, but only barely.
    • Looey on 1 Heart with the Movement Speed buff from Lucky Coin Lucky Coin & Ribbon Spool or Clown Horn gives a run speed multiplier of 72.48%, which gives a run speed of 43.12. This makes him the fastest Toon in the game without using any Items and supports, and the only Toon that can outrun Twisted Dyle Render Twisted Dyle at full bar.
  • Sprout Render Sprout and Cosmo Render Cosmo have matching Trinkets, forming a flower or Dandy Render Dandy's head when joined.
  • Diary was the only Stealth Trinket in the game as of v0.5.2, until Coal (Trinket) Coal (Trinket) was added in v0.6.1, and then the Scrapbook Scrapbook in v0.8.0.
    • Despite this, the Diary is still the only Trinket to consistently increase your Stealth. The Lucky Coin can also increase Stealth, though it's not guaranteed.
  • Brick Brick is the first Trinket to give only 'Debuffs' to the player, the second Trinket being Coal, and the last Trinket being Scrapbook, but the said Stealth Debuff of Scrapbook could also be viewed as positive for distractors.
    • Shrimpo Render Shrimpo's Trinket giving you a debuff somewhat makes sense, giving the fact he is a challenge character and is meant to be difficult to play.
  • When Qwel was asked about the supposed leaks for Twisted Connie Render Twisted Connie's Trinket, Qwel created a doodle of Connie Render Connie and a PNG of "Ghost Yogurt" as a funny little joke.
  • Currently, to buy all purchasable Trinkets, you would need 14,525 Ichor Ichor.
  • Both the Bone and Feather Duster Feather Duster activate when using Gigi Render Gigi's Ability, even though you're not technically picking up an Item.
    • They also activate upon buying an Item from Dandy's Shop in the elevator.
    • Due to this, it's reasonable to assume an Item entering a player's inventory through any means counts as picking up an Item.
  • Blushy Bat Blushy Bat is the only Trinket you can't obtain from Research or from buying with Ichor.
  • Brick used to be the most disadvantageous Trinket in the game.
  • Despite Coal affecting both the player's Stealth and Movement Speed, it is only categorized as a Stealth Trinket. The reason for this is currently unknown.
  • There are only 4 Trinkets that give players Items in game, those being the Megaphone Megaphone, the Pop Pack, the Fishing Rod, and the Crayon Set.
  • There are also only 2 Trinkets that give the player Tapes Tapes upon joining a new run, those being the Coin Purse Coin Purse and the Fancy Purse.
  • The Blushy Bat is the only Trinket that players can get without playing the game at all, or when they join the game while in the group.
    • It is also the only Trinket that can be removed and re-added from your inventory at any time, just by leaving and rejoining the BlushCrunch Server group.
  • Prior to v0.10.2, Mime Makeup Mime Makeup was labelled as an Extraction Trinket. This was changed and is labeled in the Skill Check category now.
  • There are 4,422 possible Trinket combinations.
  • Train Whistle Train Whistle and Soul Sword Soul Sword are the only Trinkets to affect a debuff, that being the SlowYellowSlow Debuff.
  • Blushy Bat and Brick are the only Trinkets to have flavor text in their descriptions.
    • Scrapbook used to, but it was removed shortly after its release.
  • All Common Event Trinkets share the same function, highlighting Event Currencies.
  • Some Research Trinkets are present in their respective Toons' models, with the first two being Blue Bandana Blue Bandana for Boxten Render Boxten and Pink Bow Pink Bow for Poppy Render Poppy, the second being Feather Duster for Tisha Render Tisha, and the third being Sweet Charm Sweet Charm for Cosmo and Savory Charm Savory Charm for Sprout.
    • However, Cosmo and Sprout got their charms on their models after their release.
    • All of these are Common Trinkets, except for Savory Charm which is a Main Character Trinket.
    • Night Cap (for Astro Render Astro) would count, but it was removed.
    • It's not known if Whispering Flower Whispering Flower is further Inside Bassie Render Bassie's head. If so, it could also count.
    • Additionally, Soul Sword is only present in its Twisted Soulvester Render respective Twisted's model, covered in Ichor.
  • Some Research Trinkets are representations of what their respective Toons/Twisteds are, with the first being Magnifying Glass Magnifying Glass for Rodger Render Rodger/Twisted Rodger Render Twisted Rodger and the second being Coal (Trinket) for Coal Render Coal/Twisted Coal Render Twisted Coal.
  • Blushy Bat is the first Trinket to activate when the user takes damage, with the second being Soul Sword and Memory Locket Memory Locket.
    • Savory Charm could also count, though it only works when the user is on one Heart.
  • There are currently no Stealth Trinkets to be obtained in Dandy's Store.
  • The base-game Common Trinkets usually affect your Stats, with Party Popper Party Popper being an exception.
