| “ | Soulvester is a ghost that loves to haunt, specifically he loves to haunt armor! He considers himself one of the strongest Toons around! Whether that is true is still up for some debate. | ” |
| — Information Card
|
Soulvester the Ghostly Knight, also known as Soulvester, is one of the 12 Holiday Toons in Dandy's World. He was introduced on October 10, 2025, alongside
Eclipse,
Gourdy, and
Ribecca. He is only available during the Halloween Event in Gourdy's Store.
Appearance
Soulvester is a pale green ghost haunting a suit of armor. He wears a large gray helmet, which obscures most of his face. The helmet features a visor, and a teal gem at its base. His hair pokes through the top of the helmet in a ponytail. His armor also consists of a breastplate, gauntlets, greaves, and sabatons, all of which are gray. He wears black cloth, covering the parts of his torso and legs that are not armored. It is currently unknown what he looks like without his armor.
Personality
Soulvester is a Toon who accurately lines up with a real knight, speaking old English and having a heroic nature. He even shrugs off claims about him not being a real knight and takes offense whenever his behavior gets referred to as dorky. He's often seen offering help to the other Toons, whether it's providing them with protection, gathering supplies or just giving them general advice, but he's oddly quick to turn down any help offered to him, likely lining up with his heroism.
Although, he seems to act rather defensively when asked to take off his armor, even for a moment, he also feels the need to justify himself whenever his traits are presented in a way that could be viewed as not favourable, all of this possibly in an attempt to hide his insecurities, as his info card does put his strength up for questioning.
Unlike with the other related Toons, Soulvester's relationship with his twin sister
Connie is on worse terms, to the point where he seems to actually be glad to see her less often, but the ghostly duo does in fact care for each other, just like how the others do (although it is shown even less than it would traditionally be).
In summary, Soulvester may be tough and no-nonsense, he possesses chivalry and decency much like a real knight, but his personality may just be a way for him to prove himself to the other toons and for them to view him as the heroic knight he strives so desperately to be seen as, all the while hiding his negative emotions.

Mastery Strategies
For furthermore additional information, see Mastery
- For the first task, play normally, but avoid voting for
Electrician and play when
Twisted Brightney is on the Daily Twisted Board, as her presence increases the Blackout chance. - For the second task, use
Vee's Remote or other Extracting Trinkets to extract fast. You can also ask someone to prime all the Machines and finish them yourself. You can also ask your teammates to save an Item like
Instructions or
Valves for you. You can invite some Toons to help you. - For the third task, try joining a run (a full one, if possible) and playing. The extra people can help make floor progression faster.
- For the fourth task, ask someone to play as
Connie and play with them. Otherwise, find runs with them and try to protect them. Having multiple of them in a run makes it easier. - For the fifth task, equip
Pink Bow(better)/
Cooler and
Clown Horn (better)/
Ribbon Spool and walk/run around the map. Invite some Toons to make this faster if you want. - For the sixth task, go around the map and collect all the Items on the Floor and repeat. You can also invite some Toons to make this faster. Prioritize
Gumballs and
Box o' Chocolates as they let you use more items.
Do note that the strategies above are designed for the quickest completion. Masteries are completable in your own pace, no rush needed, and some ideas could be unsuitable for a normal run.
Strategies
Soulvester has the best extraction in game (alongside
Gourdy), with 5
in both Skill Check and Extraction Speed, as well as an extra
for his survival. However, this comes at the cost of being one of the worst Toons in terms of mobility, having 1 Star Movement Speed and Stamina, matching mobility stats with
Shrimpo. Therefore, playing recklessly is much more risky than it usually would be, so caution and patience will be key to playing Soulvester right.
Soulvester may be best used in a team with a distractor present. This will allow him to fully utilize his high extraction stats and keep him away from danger, though his life could be in jeopardy if the distractor dies. His extra Heart may aid him by allowing him to take an extra hit, as well as giving
Health Kits more value, but caution should still be taken with faster Twisteds like
Twisted Shelly and
Twisted Toodles. A good strategy is to always check corners and behind walls, and position your camera in a position where you can easily spot Twisteds while doing Machines.
As stated in his Ability description, Soulvester is immune to
Twisted Goob and
Twisted Scraps's ranged attacks. It can basically be thought of as a permanent
Cardboard 'Armor'. This makes them much less of a threat, especially Scraps, as she doesn’t have Goob’s longer attention span which should still be noted. Unfortunately, he is not immune to
Twisted Gigi's grab attacks, so be cautious or good Items will be taken.
Like
his sister, Soulvester has more advantages in Floor Events compared to other Toons, being light-producing in Blackouts and possessing immunity to the
Illness III debuff applied by Ichor Leaks, though do be aware that slowness still inflicts as usual by walking in an Ichor Puddle. Overall however, he's a nice option if Floor Events are difficult.
If you regularly play Connie and adapt to her similarly poor Movement Speed, transitioning to Soulvester could be a good idea, because you'd not only know how to deal with his 1 Star Movement Speed, but also receive the bonuses mentioned before (max extraction, extra Health, ranged attack immunity, etc.). Remember this comes at the cost of less survivability compared to Connie (2 less Stars in both Stamina and Stealth compared to her), so be aware.
If you plan to spawn
Twisted Dyle, Soulvester probably shouldn't be your pick. His awful mobility will not just be hard to manage against Twisted Dyle, but also the Common Twisteds that spawn alongside him. The extra Heart also won't make a difference against Twisted Dyle attacking you; you will still be insta-killed. His immunity to ranged attacks is also completely irrelevant due to all of the Twisteds with ranged attacks being Rare. Despite his max extraction, its simply not worth it, as Gourdy can easily outclass him in Dyle runs due to his better Movement Speed. If you are completely insistent on doing it, however, the most optimal way to do so is to have extreme caution and teamwork. Having the other Toons present communicate Twisted Dyle's location will let him be able to traverse the map easier, albeit he shouldn't wander off too far from the Elevator and should use his great extraction capabilities near the Elevator.
Overall, Soulvester is a decent Toon to go as, though ensuring you reach higher Floors requires a lot of assistance from other teammates. If you are adamant on really high extractability, Gourdy may be the better pick.
Trinket Combinations
Recommended Trinket combinations for Soulvester:
Survivability
Pink Bow/Options
- Pink Bow improves Soulvester's 1
Movement Speed. Here are some options to pair this Trinket with:
Speedy Shoes, to further improve run speed (22.6 run speed);
Vanity Mirror, to outrun very fast Twisteds during Panic Mode. (28 Run Speed with Pink Bow and 23 without);
Cooler or
Friendship Bracelet, to increase Soulvester's 1 Star Stamina pool, granting more time to lose Twisteds;
Blushy Bat or
Soul Sword, to increase Soulvester's chances to get away after being hit by Twisteds;
Diary, to not interfere with Distractors and to be a bit safe;
Memory Locket, so you can help detect healing Items for yourself or a Healer without losing much Hearts.
- Pink Bow improves Soulvester's 1
Extraction
Magnifying Glass/Options
- Magnifying Glass allows Soulvester to take full advantage over his 5 Star Extraction Speed and Skill Check.
Participation Award, to take full advantage of Skill Check Extraction.
Vee's Remote, to take out machines that you wouldn't be able to otherwise due to your low move speed, and to speed up the overall floor completion.- Any of the trinkets in the Survivability/Mobility section.
- Magnifying Glass allows Soulvester to take full advantage over his 5 Star Extraction Speed and Skill Check.
Note:
Cardboard 'Armor' is highly unrecommended due to being useless on Soulvester, since he is already immune to long-ranged attacks.

Trivia
- Soulvester and
Connie being twin siblings[1] makes them the fifth set of Toons with a canonical biological relationship. - Soulvester is also immune to ranged attacks, though it is not said in his Ability description until v0.13.9.[2]
- This however does not apply to
Twisted Gigi's ranged ability. - This technically means Soulvester has the most immunities in the game, being immune to Ichor Leaks, ranged attacks, and (semi) immune to Blackouts.
- This however does not apply to
- Soulvester has longer hair than his sister, meaning that he has the longest hair in-game.[3]
- Soulvester is the first non-Main Character Holiday Toon to have 5
in two Stats, with these stats being Extraction and Skill Check.
- He is the first Holiday Toon and playable Toon overall to have 4
. - Soulvester is the second Toon to wear footwear by default, after
Dyle. He's also the second Toon to wear gloves by default, after Blot, and the third Toon to wear some type of head accessory by default, after Connie and
Astro. - Soulvester's name is a portmanteau of the word "Soul" and the name Sylvester.
- In one of his dialogues with Connie, she mentions that he is "larping as a knight", which implies he is not actually one. Even if he may not actually be one, he seems to have a heavy belief otherwise, due to his protective nature and the fact he wears armor.
- Soulvester's low Movement Speed and Stamina is possibly due to his heavy armor. His low Movement Speed could also reference his sister's speed.
- As stated in an interaction with Ribecca, Soulvester refuses to take his armor off, even if only for a moment. This could mean that his armor is removable and that he had found it somewhere.
- His immunity to range-attacks could reference his armor that is probably more durable than the Trinket
Cardboard 'Armor'. - Soulvester is the second Holiday Toon to appear in the thumbnail not escaping from a Twisted, instead giving
Twisted Gourdy a
Stealth Candy. The first was Gourdy, who is playing with Toodles. - Upon release, Soulvester's Ability description read "You get an extra heart!" This was later changed to read "This Toon gets an extra heart and is immune to damage from ranged attacks.
- This technically means Soulvester has two Passives, even though they are both considered as one Ability (similar to how Astro's Well Rested Passive gives him extra Stamina regeneration and the Ability to see Toons below half Stamina).
- While unknown why his description was changed, it may have been due to players thinking his immunity was a bug since it wasn't stated.
- He was the first Toon to have an Ability addressing the player themselves, reading 'You get an extra heart!'.
- It was also the second shortest Ability description, with 23 characters.
