Ribecca the Skeleton, also known as Ribecca, is one of the 12 Holiday Toons in Dandy's World. She was introduced on October 10, 2025, alongside Eclipse, Gourdy, and Soulvester. She is only available during the Halloween Event in Gourdy's Store.

Appearance

Ribecca is a white skeleton with black eyebrows, droopy green makeup, and purple eyeshadow. She wears a jacket with purple sleeves in a checker pattern, green fluff, covering her ribcage. Similar to Blot, Flutter, Flyte, and Rodger, Ribecca also lacks a mouth.

Personality

Qwelver has described her as a "girlboss", according to her design. Other than that, Ribecca is an artist and a costume designer, as seen in a dialogue with Gourdy and her information card. Ribecca loves fashion and is a kind Toon, though she also seems to be chill and laid-back according to her dialogues.

Mastery Strategies

• For the first task, equip Dandy Plush and Fancy Purse to be able to buy from Dandy's shop quickly.
• For the second task, use Vee's Remote or other Extracting Trinkets to extract fast. You can also ask someone to prime all the Machines and finish them yourself. You can also ask your teammates to save an Item like Instructions or Valves for you. You can invite some Toons to help you.
• For the third task, play normally, but avoid voting for Piping Tape.
• For the fourth and sixth task, go around the map and collect all the Items on the Floor and repeat. You can also invite some Toons to make this faster. Prioritize Gumballs and Box o' Chocolates as they let you use more items.
• For the fifth task, equip Dog Plush/ Pink Bow and Clown Horn (better)/ Ribbon Spool and walk/run around the map. Invite some Toons to make this faster if you want.

Do note that the strategies above are designed for the quickest completion. Masteries are completable in your own pace, no rush needed, and some ideas could be unsuitable for a normal run.

Strategies

Ribecca is a great All-Rounder Toon for runs, as her Passive Ability, The Undead, bypasses all applied Debuffs, such as Twisted Vee's Slow II Debuff applied on a chase, Twisted Astro's Tired III Debuff, Illness III and slowing from Ichor Leaks Puddles being a few examples. This makes the above Twisteds along with any other Debuff sources (almost) non-threats. Being easily accessible during the Halloween Event, Ribecca is a great option for starters who struggle with debuffs.

Note while her Passive is an amazing debuff counter, it has a small con being that you can't immediately notice Twisted Shelly when she spawns without sound cues. She is usually self-evident with her Confused I debuff, but since Ribecca's Passive gives her debuff immunity, it won't appear over your head. This really isn't an issue though, as you can just turn up your volume to hear Shelly's footsteps.

While Ribecca is intended to be a starter Toon and has a really good Passive, you may want to get used to dealing with debuffs early on as a different Toon. This is because if a starter uses Ribecca for the most part, they may struggle a bit more with debuffs due to not being used to them when they transition to a different Toon. However, this mostly depends on how you want to progress in the game, so you are still free to play whatever Toon and playstyle you wish. Just remember that it’s a good idea to learn how to counter debuffs by base, especially if you plan to distract at some point as you progress and get more Toons.

Her 3 in all stats means she doesn't have any specific strengths nor weaknesses, so you can usually select Trinkets that best revolve around your playstyle or mitigate your personal weaknesses.

Survival

• Pink Bow/Options
  • This set allows Ribecca to outrun fast Twisteds, except for Twisted Dyle at his fastest. Some options to pair this Trinket with include:
    • Speedy Shoes, to further improve run speed (28.2 run speed).
    • Vanity Mirror, to outrun all Twisteds during Panic Mode, excluding Twisted Dyle at his fastest.

Extraction

• Magnifying Glass/Options
  • This set allows Ribecca to improve her average Extraction stats. Some options to pair this Trinket with are:
    • Participation Award, to speed up Extraction time, as well as maximizing her Skill Check.
    • Vee's Remote, to instantly complete the first Machine on any floor.

Note: It is NOT recommended to use Train Whistle on Ribecca, as her Passive already nullifies the Slow debuff.

Trivia

• Ribecca, Eggson, Rudie, Poppy and Boxten all share the same Stats. (3 in all stats)
  • This doesn't apply to Razzle & Dazzle because of their Passive Ability.
• Ribecca's name is a portmanteau of the word "rib" and the feminine name Rebecca, as she is a skeleton.
• Her Skin Haunted Topic is a reference to the popular clothing store brand Hot Topic, which was notorious for its 'Emo' attire in the 2000's.
• According to one of her descending Floor dialogues, Ribecca is frequently cold, which is likely because she is a skeleton and may not be able to produce body heat.
  • Connie, being a ghost is also shown to get cold easily as well, which is mentioned in her dialogues.
  • This is likely is also the reason she wears a sweater.
• According to one of her dialogues with Gourdy, it's hinted that Ribecca's limbs are detachable.
• Following a fan-based pattern of Events and their respective Toons releasing, the Common rarity Toons are the first to be shown and teased. On the Christmas Event, it was Rudie, on the Easter Event, it was Eggson, and on the Halloween Event, it's Ribecca.
• Ribecca's interaction with Pebble is based on the fact she is a skeleton, and that dogs like to chew bones.
