Razzle & Dazzle the Twin Masks, also known as Razzle & Dazzle, are one of the 33 playable Toons in Dandy's World, added on June 14th, 2024. They are available to be bought in Dandy's Store.

Appearance

Razzle & Dazzle's heads are comedy and tragedy masks. Razzle, being the white comedy mask, is smiling with grey blush underneath his eyes on his cheeks. Dazzle, being the grey, almost black tragedy mask, has white tear streams falling down his cheeks and a worried expression on his face. Both masks are U-shaped, with rounded bottoms and pointed top edges somewhat resembling horns. They have red necks that tie together in the front like a scarf, that could resemble the ribbons commonly seen on theatre masks. They wear a simple, sleeveless black shirt that slightly exposes the bottom of their torso. Their torso and limbs are split down the middle, with the right legs and arms being white like Razzle and the left legs and arms being grey like Dazzle.

Personalities

Razzle and Dazzle both have extremely different personalities, which represent their respective theatre masks.

Razzle is a rather excitable, friendly Toon. He appears to be eager to spend time with the others, as well as enjoying the spotlight. He states "Couldn't be better!" when asked about how he's doing, which is reflective of his optimistic, happy personality.

Dazzle, however, is a rather gloomy, pessimistic Toon. He appears to have a rather negative outlook and slightly depressive personality, dismissing positive comments about him. After being complimented by Boxten, Dazzle says "I wish my best was enough...", which further suggests this.

However, despite being so different, neither twin fights, instead being open and accepting of each other in lieu their oppositions.

Mastery Strategy

• For the first task, focus on gathering Tapes for Dandy's Shop and then simply buying from him. Using Fancy Purse can help with the tape collection.
• For the second task, try to do as many Machines you can. Using a Trinket like Magnifying Glass to aid with extraction can help.
• For the third task, pick up as many Items as possible each floor. You can use a Pebble / Coal to aid with this process, as their abilities can guide you towards Items. You can also join a run with one or more Yatta to harvest their candy when a Yatta gets hit.
• For the fourth task, try completing floors quickly. This can be done faster with larger teams.
• For the fifth task, focus on moving around in runs, using Trinkets such as Dog Plush and Ribbon Spool / Clown Horn. Being Razzle helps with the process of doing this task; it's recommended you do this task in a private server to not disturb the task's completion.
• For the sixth task, simply treat it like the third task, and pick up many Items while using them. Focus on getting Gumballs or Box O' Chocolates as they count as using 3/5 Items.

Strategies

Razzle & Dazzle have a vacillating playstyle. Their varying Stats give them great potential, enabling them to demonstrate two extreme builds with their hybrid playstyle of swapping between distracting and extracting. In the following segments, Razzle and Dazzle are referred to as Razzle when they are on Odd Floors (speed) and Dazzle on Even Floors (extraction).

Their Passive Ability causes the user to swap their strengths between Extraction and Distraction/Survival on Even and Odd Numbered Floors respectively. Razzle's high Movement Speed (equal to Pebble and Bassie) (5) is perfect for Distracting Twisteds on Odd-Numbered Floors, and Dazzle's high Extraction Speed is great for Extracting Machines on Even-Numbered Floors (as his extraction equals Vee, Glisten and Yatta's). The major disadvantage of playing Razzle & Dazzle is Dazzle's extremely low Movement Speed (1 Star), which is much lower than other similar extractors. It's due to this factor that it's recommended to play Razzle & Dazzle on a team as opposed to playing on your own, as Dazzle's speed deficit is often fatal if they're chased by a Twisted.

Razzle & Dazzle's Ability allows them to assume the most powerful stats of a Main Character across each Floor. Their Ability breaks Floors up a little more to make things more exciting, but it comes at a large opportunity cost. Firstly, even though they match Pebble, Bassie, Vee, Yatta and Glisten's 5 Star stats, they effectively lack a real Ability and fall short of those they mimic (except in ). Secondly, the fact that they must split their Trinkets between two Roles ensures one Role will be neglected or neither will reach its full potential. Thirdly, Dazzle shares the same Movement Speed as Shrimpo and Connie, making him much less efficient as an Extractor as he must spend much more time evading Twisteds and finding Machines, which can easily negate the time saved by the extraction efficiency. Their gimmick can easily be a weakness more than a strength in some instances, but it makes them perfect for spicing things up and testing out Pebble and Vee before you buy them.

As for Items, Razzle & Dazzle can use anything well. It's recommended to take Healing Items, as those are always generally useful, and to collect Movement Speed/Stamina Items during Razzle's turn to make Dazzle's safer.

The main thing determining Razzle & Dazzle's Ability is their Trinkets. Movement Speed-boosting Trinkets (such as Ribbon Spool, Clown Horn, etc) are highly recommended as they can boost their mobility, which is helpful for both, and extraction-boosting Trinkets ( Vee's Remote, Magnifying Glass, etc) can help them extract nicely. There's no best set of Trinkets for Razzle & Dazzle, but it's best to use two speed Trinkets or one movement and one extraction, as this can help flesh out one of their Roles better. It's better to pick Trinkets that synergize with one another.

Razzle & Dazzle's best support looks like another distractor that handles Dazzle's Floors. If this is the case, the Razzle user may wish to equip Clown Horn and Dog Plush and the other Toon can equip Ribbon Spool in place of Clown Horn. While this is a common setup for duo distracting, it comes with the benefits of Razzle & Dazzle's extra heart compared to Pebble and extra Extraction during downtime. Downsides include an extreme lack of survivability if your other distractor dies, an inability to take over/backup distract if they're low on health, and being devoid of a good way to gather items downtime normally provides.

Razzle's speed is sufficient to distract all singular Twisteds (including Twisted Pebble, though combinations may get dicey) so their user might opt to instead solely equip Trinkets that benefit Dazzle.

For specific Trinket recommendations, here are some possible combinations:

Mobility

• Ribbon Spool and Pink Bow/Options
  • Spool is the best for countering Dazzle's lackluster Movement Speed stat (22 run speed), Bow grants a smaller buff that also affects Razzle (32.3 and 21.5 run speed on R&D respectively) and both trinkets combined grant Dazzle decent survivability before Panic Mode (23.7 run speed). Here are some options to pair both trinkets with.
    • Vanity Mirror, so R&D (mainly Dazzle) can more easily traverse the map during Panic Mode;
    • Alarm, so R&D (mainly Razzle) gains the same speed boost the twisteds get on Panic Mode (25 walk speed on Razzle);
    • Speedy Shoes, to improve Dazzle's survival and Razzle's distraction (21 walk speed);
    • Clown Horn, to help Razzle distract (22 walk speed);
    • Magnifying Glass or Vee's Remote, to help with floor progression; etc.

  • When Horn is active, this set allows Razzle to out-walk Twisted Glisten and Twisted Vee when you are inflicted with the Slow II debuff (24.2 walk speed).

Extraction

• Participation Award/ Magnifying Glass
  • This set speeds up machine completion by maximizing Skill Check extraction, but it's best used in the presence of a distractor.

• Razzle & Dazzle's name is used to describe a showy act that draws attention. This could be their name because of how comedy and tragedy masks represent the two main types of theatrical literature. Razzle's name could also refer to the pair's raspberry-like colored ribbons.
• Razzle & Dazzle are currently the only Toon with two heads.
• Dazzle is the most beloved, as evidenced by a poll in the BlushCrunch Discord server.
• Razzle and Finn are "best buddies" as stated by their dialogue.
  • Also evidenced by their dialogue, it is shown that Razzle loves Finn's jokes, but Dazzle doesn't.
• Dazzle is part of Brightney's Book Club, along with Astro.
  • Razzle is not in the Book Club. He is said to fall asleep during any Book Club gatherings.
• Razzle is the one who moves fast, while Dazzle is the one who extracts fast. This can be confirmed through their interaction with Boxten.
  • This Interaction implies that each of them is capable of controlling the majority of their body and not just their individual sides.
• Although not confirmed, Dazzle seems to have a fear (or at least disliking) of dogs, as seen in their interaction with Pebble.
• Dazzle is stated to be a fan of astronomy, as shown in their interaction with Astro, as well as an astronomy book that can be found in their room in Roleplaying Mode (presumably the same one that Astro had given them).
  • Dazzle also seems to be friends with Astro, as they state that they enjoy his company.
• Razzle & Dazzle seem to be a fan of Vee and her Game Show, as seen in the note written to her that can be found in their Room in Roleplaying Mode, and their interaction with Vee.
  • This could also be interpreted as Razzle craving the light of a stage rather than harboring any special affection for the gameshow.
• Razzle & Dazzle are designations U-002A and U-002B respectively, as confirmed in the Roleplaying Mode on the Floor with the Toons' Rooms. The U most likely stands for Uncommon.
  • Something interesting is that the two don't share the same experiment name. Razzle's experiment name is U-002A and Dazzle's experiment name is U-002B.
  • In Roleplay Mode, Razzle & Dazzle share the same room. This makes sense as they are conjoined.
• Before the alpha 0.3.0 update, Razzle & Dazzle were the most expensive Non-Main Character Toon in the game before getting replaced by Glisten.
  • However, they are still the most expensive Toon whose only requirement to unlock them is Ichor.
• Razzle & Dazzle are the fourth tallest Toon, the tallest being Flyte the second tallest being Sprout, and the third being Looey.
• Razzle & Dazzle are one of the only Toons that have necks, the other two being Brightney and Scraps.
• Goob and Razzle & Dazzle's dialogue is one of Qwel's favourite new dialogue from update 0.7.1.

• Razzle loves the Stegosaurus stated to their Interaction with Shelly. Dazzle's favorite dinosaur isn't specified, but it could be a Brachiosaurus or Brontosaurus, given how those two are the most well known sauropods.
• Razzle & Dazzle are one of the only Toons whose Twisted counterpart has no roaming or chasing animation that can be seen in the main game, the other one being Rodger and Blot.
• Shown by the letter to Vee, Razzle is probably right-handed, and Dazzle could possibly be left-handed (both by force) since they both wrote.
• According to Qwel, Razzle & Dazzle's passive ability was going to be reworked into an active ability in a future update, but this idea was scrapped.
• Skill Check and Extraction Speed combined, Dazzle, tied with Yatta, is the second fastest (and fastest non-Main Character) Toon at extracting without any additional Trinkets used. Razzle, on the other hand, is one of the best distractors due to his Movement Speed, but it is not recommended to have him as a main distractor due to their ability.
  • Razzle almost has the same stats as Pebble, only missing one in Stamina.
• Razzle & Dazzle, alongside Dandy are the only toons without Head UGCs.
• Unconfirmedly, but Razzle & Dazzle are Dicephalic Parapagus type conjoined twins.
• Based on Yatta and Razzle & Dazzle's interaction, it is implied that Dazzle does not like attending to parties because usually there's many people in parties.
• Razzle & Dazzle are one of the first non-Main Toons to get a Gamepass Skin with the other Toons being Blot, Looey and Yatta.
