Pumpkins are an event currency exclusive to the Halloween Event. They are used to buy Halloween Event Skins and Halloween Event Toons (
Eclipse, 
Gourdy, 
Ribecca, and 
Soulvester). It is recommended not to overspend Robux or time collecting Pumpkins, as they will disappear when the event ends and will not be retained for future Halloween Events. On weekends, the amount of Pumpkins earned are doubled, lasting from Friday at 2 PM to Sunday at 11 PM EST.

In order to maximize your Pumpkins, you should use a Toon that excels with survivability to collect the spawnables and encounter Twisteds safely. Especially good Toons for grinding Pumpkins include:
- Pebble - Able to detect Pumpkin Items easier with his Fetch! Ability.
- Coal - Easily able to detect Pumpkin items with her Scout Ability along with highlighting them for other players too.
Trinkets with special value towards grinding Pumpkins include:
- Vee's Remote/ Wrench - Help you complete more Machines per Floor when in a group.
- Bone Needle and Thread - Highlights Pumpkins Items.
- Scrapbook - Reduces Stealth, making it easier to achieve Twisted encounters with a distractor.
A really efficient way to grind for Pumpkins is going on solo runs, since all the Machines are for you, you have enough time to scout for Pumpkins, and you take all the aggro from the Twisteds since there are no distractions.
Another good way to grind Pumpkins is to play during a 2x Pumpkins weekend, which can help save time while obtaining Skins and Stickers during the Event. Since Pumpkins are doubled on the weekend, its recommended to take advantage of it if you wish to grind as many Pumpkins as possible. This is additionally a great time period to grind Pumpkins for players who have school during the week.

- Pumpkins are the fourth currency added to the game, the second being Ornaments, the third being Baskets and the first being Ichor.
- This is without counting Tapes, as their only current use is during runs.
- Additionally, it is the third Event currency added to the game.

- The max number of Pumpkins per Floor (up to floor 7) is 32, or 64 during weekends.
- In v0.13.9, Pumpkins were doubled during weekends in the Halloween Event, due to the sheer amount of Pumpkins need to buy all the Holiday Toons, Holiday Skins and Holiday Stickers.
- This makes Pumpkins the first currency to get a 2x booster.
- Fridays do count as a weekend day likely because some places will be Saturday due to timezones and/or because school has finished.
- There is a weird rainbow gradient on the Pumpkin texture, with the use of it being unknown.
