This page contains characters and/or content that has lore importance to the overarching story of Dandy's World.


Posters are images that are scattered around Floors. They can be found on most Floors, including the Rainbow Rooms, Art Studio, Diner, Greenhouse, Gift Shop, Astro's Floor, Shelly's Floor, Sprout's Floor, Vee's Floor, Dyle's Floor (Only covered by Ichor) and the Holiday Floors. The only Floor to not include Posters is the Warehouse.

The Posters are used to showcase multiple things, including episodes of the Dandy's World Show, character overviews, safety precautions, rules, and advertisements. Each Poster includes at least 1 Toon from the show, with most including at least one Main Character Toon.

Trivia

Episodes

  • "Cooking Chaos" is the first (and currently only) Episode Poster not to show a Main Character in it, even though they are mentioned.
    • The Main Character missing but mentioned is Sprout Render Sprout.
  • Sprout is the only Main Character to not appear in an Episode Poster yet.
  • Bobette Render Bobette, Bassie Render Bassie and Gourdy Render Gourdy are the only Event Toons to appear in an Episode Poster.
    • This is probably because they are the Main Character of their respective events.
  • "Pebble Render Pebble in Day Out" is the first Episode Poster to have its release date changed.
  • The premiere date of "Spring Flowers" references the date of Easter in 2025 (4/20/25), instead of Easter in 1991 (3/31/25).
    • This is most likely an error, as every other Event Episode poster has the date for the Holiday in the respective year.
      • Granted, the two Holidays (Christmas and Halloween) are on the same day every year, whereas Easter changes days.
  • "Holloway Haunting" is the only Event Episode poster to have handwritten text.

Main Character Posters

  • "Celebrate Scares with Gourdy Render Gourdy" is the only Main Character Poster to have 1 version only, contrasting the usual three, with not having a version with Ichor and alternate, redesigned version.
    • On the contrary, "Discover Fun with Shelly Render Shelly" is the only Main Character Poster with 4 versions.
    • "Give Gifts with Bobette Render Bobette" originally also only had 1 version, though a redesign in the 2025 Christmas Event made it two.

Information Cards

  • Most existing Toons have Information Cards, except Main Character and Lethal Toons. The reason is most likely because they're already well known in the lore and wouldn't need them.
    • Dyle Render Dyle has a different reason for not appearing on one, as he was never meant to be in the show at all.
      • Brusha Render Brusha is the only non-Main Character/Lethal Toon to currently not have an information card.
        • This is due to the fact that she was recently released, and there hasn't been any new maps yet to include it.
          • Yatta Render Yatta had a similar issue, but hers was later added into one of the Rainbow Rooms after its layout was reworked.
            • Oddly enough, when one of the Greenhouse maps' layout was reworked one update after Brusha's release, Brusha still didn't get an Information Card.
  • Looey Render Looey's Information Card reads "Cheerful and lively, this balloon lives to entertain others." This could be a grammatical error, and that it was supposed to say, "Cheerful and lively, this balloon loves to entertain others."
    • At the same time, this could be intentional, and it means that Looey's sole purpose at Gardenview is to entertain and make people happy. Whether or not it is intentional or not is unknown.

Other

  • The "Gardenview Dining Center" Poster has "Delectable" misspelled as "Delictable", which is referenced in one of Sprout Render Sprout and Cosmo Render Cosmo's interactions.
  • Most Ichor-covered Posters come from the Dyle's Floor.
    • The Ichor-covered Posters cover most of the titles of their Episodes, except ones giving the poster new meaning, such as:
      • "Out" (Pebble Render Pebble in Day Out)
      • "Panic" (Dandy Render Dandy in Showtime Panic)
      • "Fight" (Astro Render Astro in Stage Fright)
      • "Get her" (Grow Together with Bassie Render Bassie)
      • "Run, Scream" (Rules!)
      • "friend" (Always Remember)
  • Staff Only signs have either have a Main Character or Event Toon on them.
    • Pebble is the only Main Character to not have a Staff Only sign. This is because he doesn't have his own map yet.
    • The only Event Toons to have Staff Only signs are Ginger Render Ginger, Flyte Render Flyte, and Soulvester Render Soulvester, the three Uncommon Toons from their respective events.
      • The Staff Only sign with Ginger is currently the only Staff Only sign with a different pattern in the background, compared to all of the other Staff Only signs, having a diamond shaped pattern instead of the usual dot pattern.
