Paint Bucket is one of the 55 usable Trinkets found in Dandy's World and is one of the 40 Twisted Trinkets. It is obtained by achieving 100% Research on Twisted Brusha.

Appearance

Paint Bucket appears as a gray bucket with a lighter gray handle. It has purple paint inside it, as well as some spilled over the edge and onto the ground. The paint itself is a mix of three different shades of purple swirled together.

Strategies

Considering a 5% boost in Skill Check size and chance is a small amount, this Trinket isn't the best choice, being outclassed by both Thinking Cap and Participation Award together, and being less effective than both a Stopwatch and a Skill Check Candy—quite common Items, Stopwatches being in the Common tier (though Dandy's Shop exclusive) and Skill Check Candies being in the Uncommon tier. You could also just have a Brusha on your team to provide a boost, as she can effectively provide the same effects Paint Bucket does with a +45% extra boost in comparison. Jawbreakers, if lucky, give you a +45% extra boost, and they are quite common too, so stacking up enough will guarantee a Skill Check Boost.

However, choosing to use both Thinking Cap and Participation Award takes up both Trinket slots, so if you still want to get (some) of Thinking Cap and Participation Award’s effects while still having a Trinket slot open, this Trinket could be a decent alternative. You could additionally pair it up with Participation Award to get a 30% Skill Check chance boost, with only -15% Skill Check size.

Note Paint Bucket's size increase (especially on a 1 Skill Check Toon) is VERY weak, making next to no difference. The +5% Skill Check chance is also quite weak to be effective, so Paint Bucket is mostly outclassed by other Skill Check related Trinkets, Items, and boosts, so only use it if you lack any other Skill Check Trinkets, though Items are still available.

Trivia

• This seems to be the bucket Brusha possibly uses for her art, matching the colors on her bristles, though this is just speculation.
• The effects Paint Bucket provides (+5% boost to Skill Check size and chance) could be a reference to Brusha's Toggle Ability—it functions identically but has a weaker effect.
