Movement Speed is an essential part of Dandy's World, stating how fast Toons walk or run. There are many Items and Trinkets that can either boost or hinder the player's speed. Each Twisted has their own Walk and Run Speed, and being too slow to outrun a Twisted could potentially end one's run. However, there are Toons who are capable of easily outwalking or outrunning Twisteds, if equipped with the right Trinkets.

Twisted Speed

Here is a list of Twisteds’ speeds, ranked based on Run Speed. This is important to see who you can outwalk or outrun. Remember that Twisteds are 25% faster in Panic Mode (20% with Suppression).

  1. Twisted Blot, Twisted Razzle & Dazzle, Twisted Rodger (Stationary)
  2. Twisted Ginger (14 speed)
  3. Twisted Finn (15.5 speed)
  4. Twisted Coal (Non Blackout), Twisted Goob, Twisted Scraps, Twisted Soulvester (16 speed)
  5. Twisted Connie, Twisted Dandy, Twisted Dyle (At his slowest), Twisted Shrimpo (16.5 speed)
  6. Twisted Flyte, Twisted Sprout (17 speed)
  7. Twisted Boxten, Twisted Brightney, Twisted Brusha, Twisted Cosmo, Twisted Eggson, Twisted Looey, Twisted Poppy, Twisted Ribecca, Twisted Rudie, Twisted Tisha, Twisted Vee (18 speed)
  8. Twisted Teagan, Twisted Flutter (18.5 speed)
  9. Twisted Astro, Twisted Bassie, Twisted Eclipse, Twisted Gigi, Twisted Yatta (19 speed)
  10. Twisted Shelly, Twisted Toodles (20 speed)
  11. Twisted Cocoa (21 speed)
  12. Twisted Bobette (23 speed)
  13. Twisted Glisten (24 speed)
  14. Twisted Coal (Blackout), Twisted Pebble (25 speed)
  15. Twisted Gourdy (26 Speed)
  16. Twisted Dyle (At his fastest) (40 speed)

Trinkets

Using the correct Trinkets could help you move faster, so picking wisely is crucial if you want to get far.

The best 3 Trinkets to use are: Dog Plush, Pink Bow and Speedy Shoes.

Dog Plush is best used on Toons with 4+ Movement Speed, as they gain a lot of extra Walk Speed, letting them outwalk almost all of the Twisteds. 3 Star Movement Speed Toons can use it too, but they don't get a lot of Speed, only outwalking 4 more Twisteds. Dog Plush should never be used on Toons below 3 Stars as you still do not outwalk any Twisted, rendering it useless and a waste of a Trinket slot.

Pink Bow can be used by almost any Toon, except with Toons with either low Stamina or already high Movement Speed. Toons with less than 4 Stars of Movement Speed greatly benefit from this Trinket, especially with Toons with high Stamina like Brightney, Bobette and Scraps. Pink Bow makes you already able to outrun almost every Twisted and will make escaping them easy. However, you still need to manage your Stamina correctly or you will run out and maybe die.

Speedy Shoes alone is not really effective compared to the other Trinkets, so using it with Dog Plush or Pink Bow will make you the fastest at either walking or running, giving 15.5% Walk speed or 12.5% Run speed, making it useful if you either want to Distract or have bad Movement Speed. However, if another Trinket Slot is full, it is better to choose the other Trinkets above.

Alternatives

If you do not want to use any or have another Trinket slot empty, the following Trinkets are good options.

The options are: Vanity Mirror, Clown Horn and Ribbon Spool.

Vanity Mirror should be used on Toons with less than 2 Movement Speed so that they are able to get to the Elevator in time. Toons like Vee or Scraps are good examples, as Vee has bad survivability and has to get to the Elevator in Time and Scraps has a lot of Stamina, making the best use of it. However, almost any Toon can use this, except for low Stamina Toons like Gigi or Yatta as they do not get any significant effect, so swapping it out for other Trinkets is better. Don't forget that Toons with high Stamina make better use of it as you run out of Stamina slower. Running out of Stamina will make this Trinket worthless unless an Astro is there to refill your Stamina and make you be able to use it again.

Clown Horn and Ribbon Spool should really only be use together as you get the effect all the time, and not getting it half the time. You can use it with another Trinket like Dog Plush or Pink Bow but remember, half the time, it's useless. Though, the trinket is usually good for Toons with good Movement Speed and okay Stamina, like Tisha, as you would want to make use of your Run speed and your high Walk speed. Most mistakes people make is to instead pair Dog Plush and Pink Bow together, as you essentially lose 2.5% Run Speed bonus. If you want to distract and have a lot of Movement Speed, you can Duo-Distract with another Toon, by using Dog Plush and either Clown Horn or Ribbon Spool (each Toon gets a different Trinket). With the Trinket set, you have the highest speed possible, and if it is not your floor, you can just leave it to the other Distractor and peacefully extract. However, careful planning is necessary and if the other dies and it is not your floor, it could give you a harder time to distract.
