Mime Makeup is one of the 55 usable Trinkets found in Dandy's World and is one of the 40 Twisted Trinkets. It is obtained by achieving 100% Research on
Twisted Blot.
Appearance
Mime Makeup appears as a bottle with three shades resembling
Blot's color scheme with a note/title on it alongside a paintbrush with a blob on it. It also displays face powder having a clover-like detail in the center of the powder alongside having a black line underneath it, it also resembles an uncolored
Dandy logo. There is a black bottle cap that seals the bottle closed.
Strategies
This Trinket is best used for Toons with 1
Skill Check, such as
Shrimpo,
Bassie,
Cosmo, and
Blot. Mime Makeup completely nullifies the risk of alerting Twisteds with failed Skill Checks, making it safer for 1 Star Skill Check Toons to extract.
This Trinket can be paired with
Magnifying Glass even on 1 Star Skill Check Toons. Although the heavily reduced Skill Check Size may result in frequently failed Skill Checks if the user isn't proficient with small Skill Checks, Twisteds won't hear it, including Twisteds like
Twisted Astro,
Twisted Vee,
Twisted Dandy, and
Twisted Dyle who all have incredible hearing range.
This Trinket is especially helpful in countering the mentioned Twisteds above. Twisted Astro, like all other Twisteds, won't hear failed Skill Checks from the user with Mime Makeup equipped, so you won't have to worry about him stealing Machine progress. Twisted Vee's pop-ups also won't put you in danger if they block your vision when a Skill Check appears, and Twisted Dandy and Dyle won't ambush you if you fail a Skill Check due to their extreme hearing radius. (However, they should be trackable enough by their large size, and their footsteps, which are pretty audible.)
Mime Makeup can also serve as an alternative to
Thinking Cap, dependent on your preference — either the extra size to the Skill Check window to avoid failing Skill Checks in the first place, or a guarantee you'll be safe while extracting, (as long as a Twisted doesn't wander in on you). Considering the fact that Thinking Cap is more obtainable than Mime Makeup, it may be a better choice in some scenarios, but as 40 units isn't a significant amount (being less than a
Stopwatch), it probably won't affect you much, especially on 1 Star Skill Check Toons. Again, weigh your preferences, whether you prefer easier Skill Checks or safety.
If you are using a Toon with a higher Skill Check Stat (of at least 2 or more Stars), or you are proficient at hitting them, this Trinket may not be of much use to you.

Trivia
- Upon using the trinket and failing a Skill Check, the player will receive a message saying "This time, they can't hear you..." instead of the normal Skill Check failed message.
- Similarly, the usual buzzing sound when failing a Skill Check will not play, instead a quiet click and beep will play, but bubbling is still heard.
- Despite this, Circle Machines will still play the buzzing sound upon failure, although the Twisteds still won't be alerted. This is likely a bug.
- However, extraction will still be paused upon failing.
- Similarly, the usual buzzing sound when failing a Skill Check will not play, instead a quiet click and beep will play, but bubbling is still heard.
- Despite the Mime Makeup affecting the player's Skill Check, it was labelled as an Extraction Trinket upon release.
- This has been fixed as of v0.10.2, where it was moved to Skill Check.
- Mime Makeup is second trinket to make sound, the first being
Savory Charm.
