Megaphone is one of the 55 usable Trinkets found in Dandy's World and is one of the 14 that can be bought from Dandy's Store in the Lobby for 1850
Ichor, encounter 125 Twisteds and reach Floor 20.
Appearance
It appears to be a white megaphone with a red speaker. There are two red exclamation marks displayed on its left side. There is a dark grey stripe around the rim.
Strategy
This Trinket works similarly to
Pop Pack, granting the
Air Horn used to help in distracting and rescuing. However, for 4
Movement Speed distractors, this usually removes your potential of distracting faster Twisteds, such as
Twisted Shelly and
Twisted Toodles and forces the active use of Stamina periodically. Because of it granting the Item every other Floor, it is not recommended to use this Trinket for 4 Star Movement Speed distractors.
Air Horns are most useful when your team's Stealth Stats are either shared or lower than your distractor's. There is little reason to equip this if your teammates have higher Stealth than you. Additionally, if the user already has their Item slots filled, this Trinket does nothing that Floor.
Bassie may be able to utilize this Trinket better than others, owing to her high speed and high stealth. She can also hold onto Air Horns and deliver them to distractors if desired.
Pebble can utilize this Trinket by using the Airhorn if his Ability is on cooldown. Thus it can help as he can take aggro off of Toons who have lower Stealth such as
Brightney or
Gourdy, though it probably is not worth the loss of a Speed Trinket like
Speedy Shoes, and the Air Horns could clog up space.
Trivia
- This is the first and only Trinket that requires reaching a certain numbered Floor.
- Megaphone is the fourth Trinket to give out Items, the others being
Crayon Set,
Fishing Rod, and
Pop Pack. - Despite the Trinket's description saying "Grants the 'Air Horn' Item every other Floor", this Trinket specifically grants it every odd-numbered Floor so paring it up with the
Clown Horn is a good Trinket combination for distractors. - This Trinket gives an Item that negatively affects Stealth, but for some reason it's not in the Stealth category. This is probably because the Stealth affection is indirect.
