Lucky Coin is one of the 47 usable Trinkets found in Dandy's World. It is obtained by achieving 100% Research on Twisted Gigi.

Appearance

It appears as a golden coin with ridges on the side, with a gachapon symbol in the middle resembling Gigi's head.

Strategies

This Trinket heavily relies on RNG for it to be good. Because of it relying entirely on chance, it is not recommended to use this Trinket. There are various occasions where this Trinket could help:

• Using it on All-Rounder Toons like Looey, Poppy, Teagan, and Tisha could help you decide what to do on that Floor.
• For distractors/kiters, the 12% boost on Movement Speed can help a lot, even more than Dog Plush. However, as Lucky Coin can also boost Stealth, it can sabotage you instead.
  • Hidden Stealth boosts can induce difficulties for teammates, so try to inform them if this occurs.
• For extractors, the 12% boost on Extraction Speed can be useful, especially on later Floors with risky Machines and/or dangerous Twisteds.
• If you play as Toodles and have this Trinket equipped, it could be useful for a second stat boost or a double boost for one stat, even if it isn't for long, as Toodles' active ability allows her to roll for a stat.

Do note that for the last three cases, there is only a 1/5 chance for it to happen.

Cases for buffs are as follows depending on your activities (though this will depend on team specifics):

• Extraction/Skill Check boost (2/5 Floors) - Extractor (helpful), Distractor (inert), Other (helpful)
• Speed/Stamina boost (2/5 Floors) - Any (helpful)
• Stealth boost (1/5 Floors) - Extractor (helpful), Distractor (harmful), Other (depends)

Thus, Distractors should prioritize Ribbon Spool/Clown Horn over this Trinket if they are determined to obtain Floor-based buffs.

Trivia

• The name and mechanic may be a reference to the fact that Gigi receives a random Item, just like the Lucky Coin rewards the user a random stat.
• Gachapon machines normally function by inserting a coin into it, the coin might be a reference to a 100-yen coin or a token at a kiosk in America since that's what gachapon coin machines usually take as a currency.
• This Trinket is one of the only moderately beneficial cases for the Stamina stat buff versus flat Stamina refill-items, as its extended duration allows the user to actually refill and utilize the new maximum.
