Looey the Balloon, also known as Looey, is one of the 23 playable Toons in Dandy's World, added on December 6th, 2024, alongside Connie. He is available to be bought in Dandy's Store.

Appearance

Looey is a yellow balloon with green and purple mismatched ears, cheeks, and limbs. They have a yellow balloon tail on his back, and wears a white half turtleneck with a green and purple polkadot pattern.

When hurt by a Twisted, his head will deflate.

Personality

Looey seems to be a bright and cheerful Toon who is part of a circus group. Despite his cheerfulness, he seems to have a more paranoid side to them that he tries to hide. They seem to be paranoid about no one watching or accompanying them, like in his extraction lines.

Overall, he is a kind and energetic Toon who wants others to be happy, but also has a hidden paranoid side.

Strategies

Looey is an excellent Toon at both extracting and distracting. He has low Stealth and a great passive ability to distract, and his Extraction Speed and Skill Check are good for extracting machines.

His passive ability, Heart of Helium, is a great ability for distracting, however, you will have to lose to make the ability work, making it riskier to distract using them. Looey can also help by extracting machines, since his Extraction Speed and Skill Check are great for extracting.

Distraction

• Ribbon Spool / Clown Horn
  • This combination of Trinkets is great for Looey to distract Twisteds, as you will have 10% in walking and running speed each floor.

• Speedy Shoes / Dog Plush
  • This combination of Trinkets helps Looey in distraction, increasing their walking and running speed. This may be a more reliable combination than Ribbon Spool and Clown Horn, as it provides 5% more walking speed but 5% less running speed.

Extraction

• Participation Award / Magnifying Glass
  • These two Trinkets helps Looey extract machines faster, as Looey's 4 Skill Check is great for using these two Trinkets.

• Vee's Remote / Magnifying Glass or Wrench / Magnifying Glass
  • These two Trinkets are great for floor progression, helping to extract machines faster.

Stealth

• Diary / Any
  • Since Stealth is Looey's lowest stat, you can use the Diary Trinket to raise it, although this is not suited for teams that mainly consist of 3-star and less Toons.

• Looey's head will shrink the more you lose.
  • On 1 , Looey's ears are not connected to his head.
• Despite his ability's description, he increases his walk and run multiplier by 20% when hit, totaling up to 40% at a single .
  • This makes him faster than Pebble and Razzle at 1 .
    • This is set to be fixed to Looey having the same speed as Pebble and Razzle when at 1 .
• Looey and Poppy are good friends.
• Looey's running animation is quite "different" because of the way he's a balloon.
• Upon getting killed, Looey would have a pop effect along with the Ichor splash.
• Looey's tail wags when he's happy, while Scraps' tail wags when she's angry; this is confirmed in their interaction.
• Looey is the first Toon to be unofficially leaked, having their model shown in i_manimator's inventory. Their inventory was then later privated due to the accident.
  • Qwel teased his upcoming appearance after the incident, allowing fanarts of the Toon to be made.
