Ichor Leaks are one of the 2 Floor Events in Dandy's World. It was added in v0.11.1.

Description

When an Ichor Leak is active, multiple Ichor Puddles spawn around the map via leaks from the roof. While Toons are traversing through an Ichor Puddle, their Movement Speed is decreased by 50% (similar to Twisted Bassie's flower), and they will be afflicted with the Illness III debuff for 20 seconds, which reduces Skill Check size by 50%. Ichor Leaks cannot occur before Floor 3. Upon passing Floor 3, the chance of an Ichor Leak occurring starts at 5%, and increases by 2% after every completed Floor, capping at 30%.

Strategies

• Certain Cards can affect Ichor Leaks and help you better handle them. These include:
  • Piping Tape: Piping Tape lowers the chance increase per floor to 1.5% and decreases the max Ichor Leak chance of 30% to 25%.
• Try playing as an Immune Toon: Immune Toons won't suffer from Illness III upon walking through an Ichor Puddle. This can make extracting more comfortable, especially if an Ichor Puddle is blocking a route to a machine or if it is under the machine itself. However, their skill sets are very limited, with Blot and Flutter having bad extractability, Ribecca having average extraction speed and Connie having slightly above average extractability, high Stealth but having low Movement Speed. Soulvester has the best extractability of them all, but also has low Movement Speed, not guaranteeing a Machine for him due to the duration it takes to reach one.

Immune Toons

Toons with a pipe icon next to their abilities in the selection screen are immune to Ichor Puddles' Illness III debuff. However, they still suffer from slowness while inside the Ichor Puddle. The Toons immune to the debuff are:

• Blot
• Connie
• Flutter
• Ribecca (including the slowness)
• Soulvester

Trivia

• Ichor Leaks are the second Floor event in Dandy's World, with the first being Blackouts.
  • They are also the first-Floor event that was not in the game on Alpha release.
• As of v0.13.6, there are 5 Toons that are immune to Ichor Puddles during Ichor Leaks.
• Ribecca is the first, and only Toon that is totally immune to both debuffs from Ichor Leaks: Movement Speed while inside a puddle and Illness III.
  • That's because of her Ability, making her immune to every debuff applied to her, also being the reason why Ribecca doesn't have a pipe icon next to her.
  • She is also the first Toon to have a Mastery requirement: "Experience Ichor Spills".
• The Ichor Puddles might have reused the code from Twisted Bassie's flowers, since they both inflict -50% speed on Toons walking through them and prevented Twisteds from seeing Toons inside them.
  • In v0.11.4, this was attempted to be patched, allowing Twisteds to detect Toons inside Ichor Puddles, but the bug is still present in-game.
• There is a bug where Scraps is unable to use her Ability if there is an Ichor Puddle in between her and a Toon/Machine. This is probably because the Ichor Puddle acts like a permeable invisible wall, letting Toons and Twisteds walk through them, but not other things like Abilities, which is probably why Scraps' Ability won't work.
  • It also might have possibly block line of sight, probably why Twisteds could not see through them.
• When Ichor Leaks happen, 6 Puddles are always going to spawn.
• It is possible for an Ichor Puddle to spawn under a doorway, which will make the Ichor Leakage spawn not on the ceiling but instead on the doorway itself, making part of it look like it is floating.
• There are 3 different shapes an Ichor Puddle can be, though all 3 are not guaranteed to spawn in an Ichor Leak.
• One of Ribecca's Mastery quests refer to Ichor Leaks as Ichor Spills.
• There is a way to get a Blackout and Ichor Leak in the same Floor, albeit it has a 9% chance at best and 15.3% with Twisted Brightney's ability. successfully activate, causing a Blackout.
