This page contains a character(s) and/or content that has lore importance to the overarching story of Dandy's World.

Ichor is the main currency in Dandy’s World. You can use it to purchase Toons, Trinkets and Toon Skins.

In a previous update, Toon Skins that were not tied to Mastery Challenges were available to purchase through a ticket system for 600 Ichor.

Earning Ichor

Ichor is earned through the following methods:

  • Completing Floors (varying amounts, higher Floor = more Ichor)
  • Filling Machines (5)
    • If more than one Player worked on a Machine, each gets 1 Ichor for each 20% they contributed, rounding up.
  • Collecting Research Capsules (2 per capsule)
  • Using a Toon's Active Ability (5, once per Floor)
  • Purchasing with Robux (varying amounts)
    • 75 (300 Ichor)
    • 375 (1500 Ichor)
    • 750 (3150 Ichor)
    • 1250 (5500 Ichor)
  • In the post-game summary, each Twisted you encounter is worth 1 Ichor
  • By Codes (The only one currently active: ' ichor ', grants 50 ichor)

Ichor Uses

Ichor is used for Toons, Trinkets and Toon Skins. (Note: Christmas Event Toon Skins are bought with Ornaments, and Easter Event Toon Skins are bought with Baskets, not Ichor. It is likely that future Event skins will be bought with their own currency.)

Toons are bought with certain amounts of Ichor and sometimes extra requirements (Certain amounts of Research, Machines done, Floors survived, etc.)

Trinkets can either be bought with Ichor or gained from getting 100% Research on Twisteds. Some Trinkets in the shop also have requirements. (Floors survived, Meters walked, etc.)

Non-Mastery, non-Event, non-Gamepass Toon Skins are bought with Ichor.

Ichor Gained In A Solo Run

This chart shows the maximum amount of Ichor you could obtain every floor, assuming you are the only one who is present. Every machine yields 5 Ichor, and every Twisted also gives 5 Ichor assuming you picked up both of said Twisted's Research Capsules AND got spotted once. Whenever the machine or Twisted count increases, the number in the middle also increases.

Note that this chart relies both on the accumulation of Machines and Twisteds chart! Note that research is being conducted for both, so any changes to either chart will also affect this. Please be considerate if any data here is incorrect or if there is a sudden change in the chart. Thank you for your patience!

Lore

Ichor Operation

There is not much information about the Ichor Operation apart from the fact that Dandy is the one running the operation, but it is unknown why he is running it.

Trivia

  • If you wanted to buy everything that costed Ichor (Toons, Trinkets, Skins *including Event toons*), And Stickers (Currently, only counting the Teased Golden Shrimpo), it would cost 89,825 ichor in total.
  • Currently, Astro is the most expensive toon in the Shop while Shrimpo is the cheapest.
    • Blot is the most expensive non-Main Character Toon, with a cost of 3000 Ichor.
      • However and technically, his total cost makes him the most expensive to unlock, requiring Looey and Yatta's mastery. Additionally, Looey requires Poppy's and Yatta requires 15 toons to get, making him require a minimum of 17,200 ichor.
        • If all the Event Toons (except the Mains) are included, the minimum ichor required goes down to 9700 and 2500 of each event currency.
          • The following toons cost the minimum ichor required (excluding Holiday Toons):
            • Poppy (doesn't have to be chosen first), 250 ichor
            • Boxten (doesn't have to be chosen first), 250 ichor
            • Shrimpo, 100 ichor
            • Toodles, 350 ichor
            • Finn, 500 ichor
            • Tisha, 500 ichor
            • Cosmo, 1000 ichor
            • Looey, 1000 ichor
            • Rodger, 1000 ichor
            • Brightney, 1250 ichor
            • Teagan, 1250 ichor
            • Flutter, 1300 ichor
            • Scraps, 1500 ichor
            • Goob, 1750 ichor
            • Connie/ Gigi/ Razzle & Dazzle (R&D recommended as no other requirements are needed), 2000 ichor
            • Yatta, acquired with the 15 Toons above, 2000 ichor
              • Buying the Common and Uncommon holiday toons already brings it down to 12,200 ichor and 1000 of each currency.
  • In lore, Ichor is what causes Toons to transform into Twisteds. The exact method of this transformation is currently unknown.
    • Getting covered in Ichor is likely not one, as Twisted Finn has a chance to cover a Toon in Ichor when they finish extraction but doesn't infect them.
    • Twisted Dandy's description hints that he could be the overarching antagonist of the game, albeit not being confirmed, as he runs the Ichor operation. Whether the creation of Twisteds was his intention or not is unknown.
  • In Greek mythology, Ichor is the blood of the Greek gods and immortals and is deadly to humans.
    • In-game, some Twisteds are shown to leak Ichor from either wounds or from their eyes as if they are crying, indicating that the substance is a part of their internal system.
      • This may suggest that Ichor is the Toons' blood, which is further supported by the fact that Toons burst into a dark, Ichor-like substance upon death.
      • This further supported in a storyboard where Dazzle spits out ichor as if it was already part of him to Teagan
        • Unlike Greek mythology, in Dandy's World, Ichor is black. In Greek mythology, Ichor is golden.
    • Dandy is possibly the one responsible for the abusive damage to the Twisteds as seen in the title - Dandy's World.
    • Despite Dandy possibly being responsible for the corruption of Toons, it is implied that Dandy is still able to retain his free will. It may, however, affect him differently than other Toons, similar to Ichor in Greek mythology.
    • Toons seem to burst into Ichor when they run out of Hearts, but it may be another substance or it could be but the non infectious variant. Twisted Finn seems to produce Ichor due to the constant trail.
  • Ichor is possibly a reference to ink, as it is noticeably not golden and it appears to be vital to a Toon's existence.
  • Poppy, Boxten, Shrimpo, Razzle & Dazzle, and Tisha are currently the only playable Toons to be purchasable with Ichor and no other requirements.
  • In the 12/5/2024 stream, Qwel said that Ichor in a liquid state feels slimy and gross, and in a solid state it feels jello-like.
  • Ichor is likely the source to power the Elevator as it only opens after a certain amount of Machines are finished.
  • The lower you go the more Machines will spawn meaning the more Ichor needed to go deeper down.
  • Some toons can be purchased without Ichor. For example, all of the event toons are purchased with their own currency (except for Mains).
