The Elevator is an area in the Lobby used to start a run, either alone or with up to seven other players. Upon entering an Elevator in the Lobby, players are allowed 15 seconds to join or leave (unless it is completely full, in where they would be transported immediately), and after teleporting, are allowed another 40 seconds to change their Toons and Trinkets before gameplay starts. They can also buy a Health Kit, Bandage and Valve for Ichor. Once the timer runs out or everyone clicks the "ready up" button, you are sent to the Elevator.

Within runs, the Elevator is the area players exit and enter at the start and end of each Floor. If a player does not enter the elevator during Panic Mode fast enough, the player is instantly killed, regardless of the amount of hearts.

Before the Christmas update, players will be teleported to the elevator if they had entered the elevator and exited it, but it was somehow removed.

Elevator Loading Screen Blurbs

These are the possible blurbs that can appear at the bottom of the screen while the player is being teleported to a run. There are currently 36 different blurbs that are randomly displayed on the screen. Please note that these are not all of the blurbs, and more will be added when they are seen!

Astro can restore the Stamina of Toons around him!

Beware the dangerous and elusive Main Character Twisteds, as they are much more deadly than the rest of the cast with the abilities they possess.

Blackouts can happen randomly on each floor, shrouding the floor in complete darkness.

Boxten fills up Machines faster the more alive Players there are in a round.

Brightney passively emits light, and can reveal the position of Twisteds by shining lights on their positions!

Brightney is great for Blackouts! On Floors with Blackouts, Brightney can shine lights on Twisteds, highlighting them for your allies.

Cosmo can give one of his hearts to another Toon!

Earn Ichor by completing Machines in rounds and using your Character's Abilities!

FIND THE TAPES

Flutter can dash forward to escape Twisteds!

Glisten can teleport to other Toons!

Goob can grab Toons and pull them towards his position, saving them from trouble!

Higher star rating on Skill Check will grant more completion on a machine when completing a Skill Check.

Hitting the Golden bar in the middle of a Skill Check popup will grant extra completion on the Machine you are working on.

Main Character Toons have access to two abilities, at the cost of one of their Hearts.

Odd numbered floors feature Card Votes, while Even numbered floors features Dandy's Shop in the Elevator.

Panic Mode activates when all the Machines on the current floor are completed. Get out of there while you still can!

Pebble can sniff out the location of Items that are near him!

Poppy gains a temporary speed boost when attacked.

Razzle & Dazzle have higher movement speed on odd numbered Floors, and higher extraction speed on even numbered floors.

Rodger earns twice the amount of Research from Capsules and encountering Twisteds.

Shelly can give other Toons increased Extraction Speed for a short time!

Some Toons will require Research on certain Twisteds in order to unlock them.

The deeper you traverse into Dandy's World, the more difficult and terrifying Twisteds await you.

Vee can perform a mic check that causes all Twisteds to be highlighted for a short period.

When a healer Toon uses their ability on another Toon, other healer Toons can not use their abilities for 30 seconds.

You will earn Ichor based on how far you made it in a round.

Dandy's Shop Intermission Floors will appear between every even numbered Floor, allowing you and your party to buy three random Items from Dandy for Tapes. The only Item he won't sell is a BonBon, an Item you can only get by Cocoa's ability or the item cards. If all players do not buy from his shop three times straight (total of six floors), there is a chance for Twisted Dandy to appear on any subsequent floor. Once this chance is active, the chances of other Twisteds spawning, including Mains, go down slightly to make room for Twisted Dandy. The longer you go without buying from Dandy, the higher the chances are of him appearing on any given floor. This resets whenever anyone buys from his shop or after he spawns on a floor.

Dandy's Shop intermission floors are the primary source of Dandy-exclusive Items. Gigi's active ability, random item Cards and the Crayon Set Trinket are the only other ways of obtaining these exclusive Items.

Card Voting

Card vote Intermission Floors will appear between every odd numbered floor (with the exception of Floor 1), allowing you and your party to vote for one of three random cards. Whichever card has the most amount of votes will be selected and its effect will be applied. If there is a tie in the votes, the tied cards will be chosen at random. If nobody votes on any card, one of the three cards will be randomly chosen.

Mastery TV

In v0.6.4, a TV was added in the corner of the Elevator that shows the Mastery progress for your current Toon. The TV stands up on a tall metal cart with a VHS player in the second shelf, this also likely where Dandy watches the episodes of Dandy's World (Show) via the Tapes, in-universe.

Notably, whenever Dandy reaches his 3rd stage of being enraged, his face may momentarily flash on the monitor, this is a good indicator to be wary as he may show up at any time.

Qwel has mentioned that she plans to do more with the TV in the future, and adding it in v0.6.4 was a test run to see whether it worked.
