| “ | Eclipse tries her best to show others that wolves don't often have to be the bad guys in stories! With a kind heart and love for the moon, Eclipse is always open for stargazing with a new friend! | ” |
| — Information Card
|
Eclipse the Werewolf, also known as Eclipse, is one of the 12 Holiday Toons in Dandy's World. She was introduced on October 10, 2025, alongside
Gourdy,
Ribecca, and
Soulvester. She is only available during the Halloween Event in Gourdy's Store.
Appearance
Eclipse is a blue-gray were-wolf with a sea pink crescent moon on her forehead. Her snout, the front of her torso, the end of her tail, and her inner ears are a lighter shade of gray, while the tips of her ears and paws are a dark blue. She wears a short black shawl with a sea pink trim around her shoulders. In the presence of a Blackout, her pupils become slits, she becomes a little bit taller, her ears become fluffier, and her smile reveals sharp teeth.
Personality
Eclipse is very overly excited as seen in her dialogue with
Gourdy. She tries to get people more hyped and happier for the next floors. When she's in a Blackout, though, she seems to be more aggressive and unhinged (as shown with her expression). This is probably due to her werewolf form taking over in Blackouts, making her hunting instincts stronger. It seems her moon symbol on her forehead glows brighter in Blackouts too, illuminating her path and helping her "hunt down" the Twisteds. In a Blackout, she gets slightly bigger. This may mean that she gets stronger which is why she can run faster for longer periods of time (thanks to the Stamina buff).
Eclipse thinks of the other Toons as pack members. She also howls a lot, probably one of the reasons why she has 2 Star Stealth, as it has been shown that Twisteds are attracted to loud sounds such as her howl. This is further confirmed by her
Twisted Counterpart's ability to attract other wandering Twisteds. Her howling may also be a way to try to show her "pack" where she is or maybe to announce she is done with a Machine (which may correlate to her
Trinket's mechanic). In the elevator, the howling is to get the others excited.

Mastery Strategies
For furthermore additional information, see Mastery
- For the first task, play normally, but avoid voting for
Electrician and play when
Twisted Brightney is on the Daily Twisted Board, as her presence increases the Blackout chance. - For the second task, try joining a run (a full one, if possible) and playing. The extra people can help make floor progression faster.
- For the third task, equip
Dog Plush and
Clown Horn (better)/
Ribbon Spool and walk/run around the map. Invite some Toons to make this faster if you want. - For the fourth task, just play normally and try to encounter Twisteds. If there is a distractor, ask them to bring the Twisteds to the Elevator when Panic Mode hits.
- For the fifth task, keep joining runs with the amount of people. If too many people die, either try to finish another task or join a new run. Distractors can help make this easier.
- For the sixth task, go around the map and collect all the Items on the Floor and repeat. You can also invite some Toons to make this faster.
Do note that the strategies above are designed for the quickest completion. Masteries are completable in your own pace, no rush needed, and some ideas could be unsuitable for a normal run.
Strategies
Due to Eclipse's high Movement Speed and low Stealth, she works primarily as a distractor. However, her Skill Check and Extraction Speed are both 3 Stars, meaning she can also do Machines at moderate speed.
Her passive, Total Eclipse, increases her max Stamina by 60% and Movement Speed by 20% whilst in a Blackout, along with giving her a slightly bigger glow. With these buffs combined, Eclipse gains 240 base Stamina and 21 base Movement Speed, allowing her to surpass
Pebble's speed and Stamina, and reach the same speed as one
Looey. Beware however, she is immobile for 5 seconds when a Blackout starts due to her transformation animation, during this time she can not be detected and will lose aggro of every Twisteds that spotted her.
Speaking of, Eclipse is quite similar to Looey, with the upside of constant 4 Star Movement Speed without Heart loss, though Looey's "4 Star Movement Speed" is a bit faster due to it being a multiplier. The biggest edge Eclipse has over him is her in Blackouts, gaining 2 Stars of Stamina and a +20% Movement Speed boost, all without losing any Hearts. Though Looey's 1 Heart Movement Speed is slightly higher for sprinting, Eclipse's ability to retain Health and the extra Stamina makes her an optimal pick for Blackout distracting (especially if a distractor cannot distract in Blackouts), not to mention her larger light radius making distracting easier, though Looey is a tad bit better for normal distraction. Overall, if you are aiming for a more consistent distracting playstyle and/or struggle with Blackout distracting, Eclipse should be your option. If you trust your skill level with distracting at low Health and want to have high speed even in non-Blackouts, Looey may be your choice.
During Blackouts, her speed can allow her to easily outrun Twisteds like
Twisted Pebble and
Twisted Gourdy, and using Trinkets like
Clown Horn or
Ribbon Spool can allow her to outwalk Twisted Pebble, though it may not be worth it due to the chance of Blackouts being random.
Even without Trinkets, Eclipse can outwalk all Twisteds during Blackouts (outside of Panic Mode) aside from
Twisted Bobette, enraged
Twisted Glisten,
Twisted Coal in a Blackout and Twisted Pebble. However,
Twisted Vee and her
Slow II could make it a bit harder to distract, especially with limited vision. Also, long-ranged Twisteds like
Twisted Goob could be problematic so it's suggested to have a backup distractor deal with them.
Her larger light radius makes her also capable of surviving and distracting in the dark, though there are other Toons with a larger light radius, combining Eclipse's higher mobility makes her one of the best Toons for Blackouts, possibly being better than
Brightney in some cases.
Trinket Combinations
Recommended Trinket combinations for Eclipse:
Distraction
Dog Plush/Options
- This Trinket unlocks the ability to distract (19.3 Walk Speed, 23.1 Walk Speed during Blackouts). Here are some options to pair this Trinket with:
Speedy Shoes, to be able to outwalk fast Twisteds (20.2 walk speed, 24.25 walk speed in blackouts) and unlock the ability of looping
Twisted Pebble.
Clown Horn or
Ribbon Spool, to out-walk all Twisteds during Panic mode, excluding Twisted Pebble while active. This set also opens up the possibility of out-walking Pebble in a Blackout (21.2 walk/30.3 run, 25.41 walk/36.3 run in blackouts, more recommended for duo distracting).
Train Whistle, to completely nullify the
Slow Debuff, making
Twisted Vee significantly easier to distract.
- This Trinket unlocks the ability to distract (19.3 Walk Speed, 23.1 Walk Speed during Blackouts). Here are some options to pair this Trinket with:
Extraction
Magnifying Glass/
Participation Award
- This set speeds up machine completion by maximizing Skill Check extraction, but it's best used in the presence of a capable distractor.
- You can substitute
Vee's Remote for Participation Award to take out dangerous Machines.

I would!!! No one ever gives trick a chance, they don't have people saying "treat or treat" ever! | |

Trivia
- Eclipse is the third bipedal Toon whose legs and feet are not plantigrade in nature, with the first being
Rudie, and the second being
Cocoa. - Eclipse is capable of getting the highest maximum Stamina amount in the entire game.
- If an Eclipse were to pick both of the
Well-Paced and Endurance Cards, complete Dyle's Floor and end up in a Blackout afterwards, she will gain (150+20+50)*160% maximum Stamina, or a Stamina capacity of 352.
- That is the equivalent of having 7
Stamina with 2 extra units. - Combining this with both
Cooler and maxed
Friendship Bracelet will give her (150+20+50+50+40)*160% or 496 Stamina capacity, nearly 12 Star Stamina (11.84 Stars to be exact).
- That is the equivalent of having 7
- If an Eclipse were to pick both of the
- Eclipse is the third Toon to have sharp teeth, the first being
Goob and the second being
Yatta. - Eclipse is the first Rare Toon to have a Passive Ability, instead of an Active.
- Despite her Ability description saying she receives two extra Stamina Stars in Blackouts (which would total to 200 Stamina), her Stamina instead increases by 60%, essentially giving her about four extra stars instead by default.
- It is unknown whether this is a bug or an Ability description mistake.
- Eclipse uses the same walking and running animation as her normal self when she is extracting a Treadmill Machine while in her transformed form.
- She also uses the same extracting animation in this form, which makes her head clip inside of the machine and hands float over the valve.
- As revealed in
Connie and Eclipse's dialogue, Eclipse was made as the replacement for Connie after she left the Halloween cast. - There used to be a bug where if she uses
Vee's Remote while transforming in a Blackout, she won't be able to do that machine. - Eclipse likes to howl at the moon as said in her dialogue with
Astro and
Looey.
- This makes sense due to her being a werewolf.
- Eclipse sometimes zones out as revealed in her dialogue with Ribecca.
- Eclipse is the first Toon whose face changes when her Ability is active.
- Eclipse is the second Toon to have an Ability that only works during Blackouts, the other being
Brightney. - Eclipse and Ginger have reflected and flipped Stats.
- When you take the opposite modification of Eclipse's Stats (+1 Star to Movement Speed -> -1), you get Ginger's Stats, making them reflective.
- When you flip over the Star amount in Eclipses Stats (Movement Speed Stars to Stealth, vice versa), they also become Ginger's.
- Shown in a dialogue between Eclipse and Brightney, Eclipse makes it clear that she envies bright lights.
- This parallels her larger light radius and her being a werewolf, always looking to the moon.
- Eclipse's Howling Moonstone Skin has a blue four-pointed star on her head instead of a crescent moon.
