Diary is one of the 47 usable Trinkets found in Dandy's World. It is obtained by achieving 100% Research on Twisted Flutter.

Appearance

The icon is displayed as a book with a light purple cover. There is a pink, heart-shaped lock keeping it sealed. The lock is attached to the book with a cyan strip that has darker, purple stripes on the edges. There is a thin, pink rectangle attached to the strip.

Strategies

Diary isn't exactly too useful, however it can be a big help when a distractor has the same amount of Stealth as the Toon you are playing as, as it stops the Twisteds from prioritizing you if you're both visible to them. This could also be viable in some certain situations in which all of the Toons (or most) have the same Stealth as you, which could aid in survival.

Using this Trinket in occasions as a 'stealth extractor' is also a bonus to Diary's effects, as it'll allow the extractor with Diary on to keep extracting without getting out of the way if a distractor comes near or close to the other player.

It tends to lend itself to very specific team layouts or unique setups. Try not to randomly equip it without warning teammates; they may not be expecting certain interactions.

Trivia

• The total amount of Stealth given using this Trinket goes like this:
  • (0) -> 0.00
  • (5) -> 6.25
  • (10) -> 12.50
  • (15) -> 18.75
  • (20) -> 25.00
    • To get the greatest increase from this trinket, use it with Astro or Connie (as they both have 5 star stealth). The amount of stealth gained as these two is 5.00, or one Star. This will essentially give them 6 star stealth.
• The Diary's lock is in the shape of a heart, much like Flutter's head, shape on wings, and antennae.
• This Trinket is the only one that gives Stealth, along with Lucky Coin, which has a chance to give you Stealth though it's RNG and not a guarantee.
• This Trinket does not increase Brightney's and Shrimpo's Stealth. This is due to them having 1 in Stealth, which is 0 units.
  • In fact, this Trinket decreases Shrimpo's Stealth (-99 -> -123.75), as multiplying a negative number with a percentage gives you a bigger negative number.
  • If you're using Shrimpo with Coal and Diary, his Stealth will increase from -99 Stealth to -89.1 Stealth as multiplying a negative with a percentage that takes away will give you a smaller negative number.
• This Trinket used to give 2.5 units, or half a before the v0.4.0 update.
• Gigi writes in Flutter's Diary for her, as confirmed in one of their conversations and Gigi's conversation with Glisten.
