Connie the Ghost, also known as Connie, full name Connie Boolynski is one of the 23 playable Toons in Dandy's World, added on December 6th, 2024, alongside Looey. She is available to be bought in Dandy's Store.

Appearance

Connie is a lightish-blue ghost with a white visor and long hair that is a darker shade from her body. She wears a white shirt with grey buttons and also has a ghost-like tail instead of normal Toon legs.

Personality

Qwelver has described Connie's personality as being "a charismatic, sort of snarky ghost who had a tendency to lie about her achievements".

Trivia

  • Connie is the first Toon to publicly be known to have been delayed. The reasoning for this is the past co-owner of BlushCrunch Studio being fired due to his misdemeanors, thus creating a large hole in the staff.
  • Connie may have been named after Constance Hatchaway from The Haunted Mansion.
  • Connie is the first Toon to not have legs, instead of legs, she has a ghost-like tail.
  • Connie is the first Toon to have a scrapped render.
  • Similar to Glisten and Goob, she likely was originally a personal OC of Qwel's, being based off of Epic Mickey.
    • Connie was first seen back on January 30th, 2024, when she was still an Epic Mickey OC.
    • This is likely the reason why her name is not alliterative and not a reference to the object she is inspired by, unlike most other Toons.
      • This is also likely why she's the only non-Main Character with a revealed full name.
  • Connie was one of four Toons that were going to release for the 2024 Halloween update and is the only one that will be added to the game.
    • The other Toons that will not be added are Harvey, Countess and Duke.
  • Connie loves "Ghost Yogurt".
    • Qwel has made a joke saying that Connie is currently "vacationing in the Bahamas right now eating ghost yogurt".
  • Connie, alongside Looey, released with a functioning blink and custom run animation early, as to show what's in store for the rest of the Toons while they're being updated over time.
  • Connie, Dandy, Sprout and Shelly are the only Toons to have their full renders shown.
    • According to Qwelver, the full renders are not meant to be shown to the public and only to staff.
  • Connie is one of six Toons to have one of their dialogues shown behind the scenes.
  • Connie is the fifth added non-Main Character Toon to have 5 Statistics Star on a stat, the first being Scraps, the second being Razzle & Dazzle, the third being Glisten, and the fourth being Gigi.
