Brightney The Lamp, also known as Brightney is one of the 21 playable Toons in Dandy's World, purchasable in Dandy's Store.
Appearance
Brightney is a lamp with a scalloped bell lampshade colored magenta with a white trim on top. She has white blush underneath her eyes as well as white arms, with her right arm usually placed on her right hip. She has a slightly snatched waist and her torso and bottom & tips of her feet are a magenta that is slightly darker than the magenta on her lampshade. She wears magenta tights. Underneath her lampshade is a white light bulb suspended by white poles and a long, white neck.
During Blackouts, she gives off a white glow, which is notably brighter and larger than other Toons.
Personality
Through her dialogue and introduction card, Brightney appears to be a smart, helpful toon. Like her active ability suggests, she is skilled at solving problems, as well as helping toons out. However, it's likely that she may be overworked at times, (suggested by her dialogue with Boxten, Tisha, and the note in her room.) Brightney is incredibly honest, intelligent, an overall, a seemingly great friend to have.
Brightney, despite always being ready to help, appears to have an overworked side as well. Brightney says, "There's always something on my mind Boxten!", which when paired with the note in her roleplay room, suggests a deeper side of being overworked. Despite this, she's always ready to help with whatever her fellow toons ask of her, showing her personality as a hardworking, yet friendly person.

Strategies
Brightney is a Toon who is best utilized by those familiar with the game. It's recommended to use her if you feel confident in your skills, as her deficits, while potent, can be mitigated by her other, more potent stats if used well.
Brightney works best during Blackouts. Her Active Ability, 
Night Light, is an incredibly useful Blackout-Exclusive tool. It counters the primary threat of Blackouts, information loss, and helps teammates stay alive in the dangerous environment. Brightney's light during Blackouts is also notably brighter and larger than all other Toons, granting her high visibility and giving teammates a great source of light. Brightney is ultimately the best Toon for countering Blackouts (though Vee comes close), and can be crucial in helping the team.
Not every Floor is a Blackout, but Brightney can still be useful outside them. She has a great stat pool, with high Stamina and Extraction Speed at the cost of Stealth. To counteract her poor Stealth, Brightney can use her high Stamina to dash in and out of dangerous situations. Additionally, Brightney can temporarily help with diverting Twisteds using her high Stamina and low Stealth to help lure the Twisteds away from other Toons. With high skill, she can even be used to distract normal Twisteds indefinitely.
Aside from all of Brightney's advantages, unfortunately her one-star Stealth may cause a huge inconvenience for any Distractors, as she can unintentionally seize Twisteds' attention. It's okay to use Brightney as a temporary Distractor even though it's tricky to stay out of sight: turning corners to divert their attention to the main Distractor if they're in Detection Range is a simple fix. Still, if you're playing as Brightney, be more cautious of your surroundings and pick up necessary Items in case you get chased.
Her high Extraction Speed can make her useful to the team in other ways as well, helping get Machines done quickly.
Brightney is one of the Toons with no best set of Items or Trinkets. She can mostly be used as a blank slate due to her relatively balanced stats. However, there are a few good pieces of advice:
- Stamina-restoring Items are useful, as they'll help to maintain her above-average Stamina.
- Healing items are always useful, so it's good to keep any you find. If you're not used to her abyssmal stealth, taking hits is near-guaranteed.
- When choosing Trinkets, go for ones that combo well with one another. For example, you could use Participation Award + Magnifying Glass for Extraction, as the two synergize.
- You can also use Pink Bow + Speedy Shoes since she has a high Stamina stat and because she might be getting chased around a lot.
- It is not recommended to use Diary, as this trinket uses percentage and will provide no effect of Brightney’s stealth (0).
- Vanity Mirror is an excellent Trinket for Brightney. It allows her to utilize her above-average Stamina pool to either lure Twisteds away from the Elevator/teammates or escape more easily during Panic Mode. It is very useful if you intend to use your low Stealth to save other Toons.

- Brightney's low Stealth stat most likely references to how her bright light gives her away to Twisteds, Similarly to her own Twisted's light.
