Astro, full name Astro Novalite, is one of the 33 playable Toons in Dandy's World, added on June 14th, 2024. He is one of the 7 playable Main Characters and can be purchased in Dandy's Store.
Appearance
Astro is a light aqua crescent moon. The left side of his face is pitch-black with a white star eye. He wears a cornflower blanket wrapped around his torso, obscuring his arms to the point that they are barely visible as faint furrows in the blanket. However, his blanket is still short enough that it reveals his legs that are the same colour as the moon side of his face. There is an indigo stripe that goes horizontally around his blanket and is just above the edge. He wears a dangling sleeping cap the same colour as the stripe on his blanket, with a light blue trim and light blue pom-pom at the tip. During Blackouts, he emits a blue glow in which his glow changes colour depending on the Skin used. He is implied to have four arms, based off of his twisted form and one of his dialogues with Tisha.
Personality
Astro is a calm and introverted Toon who doesn't really take the lead in conversations. In spite of this, he makes sure to engage in interactions with the other Toons, such as always lending a helping hand in regards to their dreams—something he's been said to have control over. He enjoys peace and quiet, and is a bit high-strung in relation to anything interfering with those two things. Even so, Astro does genuinely care for the Toons around him, although he can unintentionally come off as standoffish sometimes. A lot of Astro's character also seems to revolve around outer space and sleep, given his appearance, name, the floor based off of him, and his interactions with the others.

Mastery Strategies
- For the first task, you can equip
Sweet Charm and Ghost Snakes In A Can to make his ability cooldown shorter and be able to use his ability more. - For the second task, you could go on a solo run, collect Tapes as you go through the floors, and buy as much as you can from Dandy.
- For the third task, equip Movement Speed Trinkets such as Dog Plush or Pink Bow and walk around the floor as much as possible.
- For the fourth task, you can just go on a solo run, and try to get far so you can encounter more Blackouts as you go through the run.
- For the fifth and sixth tasks, just go on multiple runs and collect as many Items as you can.
Strategies
Astro excels at Stealth and supporting others, so it's important to capitalize on that, considering a below-average Health stat. Due to having the most Stealth in game (tied with 
Connie), Astro can easily support Toons being chased by using 
Nap Time, and make a quick getaway without risking damage due to high Stealth. After escaping a Twisted, Astro can regain lost Stamina quickly with Well Rested.
Astro's main weaknesses are his low Health, due to him being a main, and his average stat spread. Unlike other Main Character Toons, his stats are much more well-rounded (Stealth aside). This means he doesn't excel at Extraction, but can do a decent job at it. Due to this, it is wise to take full advantage of Astro's high Stealth to avoid being chased in the first place, trying not to take any damage, and completing unsafe Machines right underneath Twisteds' noses. As long as a Twisted has its eyes set on someone else (beside Connie, who may be a problem), it will effectively never re-target onto Astro unless he is the only viable target left. Also, his lower Skill Check stat will make Extracting slightly slower.
As for Items, Astro doesn't need many Stamina boosts because of his Well Rested passive. Astro can still take advantage of Stamina boosters, but it's better to leave them for teammates early on. It's best to prioritize Items that help with mobility so that you aren't caught off guard. If you don't have many teammates focusing on Machines, extraction items will also be helpful. Astro also benefits from healing items, but as he's a Main Character with only 2 max Health, only 
Bandages should be taken, and 
Health Kits should be left for your teammates unless you desperately need to heal or they don't need it.
Well Rested's secondary effect should be applied similarly to 
Sprout's Overprotective: use it to keep tabs on other Toons, considering movement patterns to determine if they need aid or not. Since Well Rested is not fully reliable, it's less successful than Sprout's strategies but still has potential. Remember that it kicks in when a Toon reaches 50% Stamina, not zero, so apply any Nap Time with an appropriate delay to maximise their effect (but not so long that your teammates resort to using items). For targets like 
Shrimpo, this means near-immediately, but for ones like 
Scraps it's advisable to wait a few seconds. When monitoring others with Well Rested, consider the intricacies of how they are moving (i.e. if they stop sprinting or are moving slowly and the direction) when trying to determine their identity and whether they need help. It is best used when waiting near (but not at) the elevator to support teammates low on Stamina, but as Nap Time can only be applied once during Panic Mode, pay attention to who is still missing and how long Well Rested has been active. If you have already used it but notice stragglers, convey this information to teammates quickly so they can try to assist.
Additionally, Nap Time permeates barriers. If you cannot run around an obstacle in time, act as if it is not there and get as close to your targets as possible before activating it. This factor is essential when supporting teammates that are distracting 
Twisted Pebble- whenever possible, do not enter line of sight.
Astro's extra Stamina Regeneration makes him a good pick to practice with if you're learning to distract with 3
Movement Speed. He is very capable of distracting normal Twisteds as long as your teammates offer you a decent place to distract, and can really shine during Panic Mode if his distraction capabilities are paired with his Support strengths.
His high Stealth makes completing machines in distraction locations a helpful strategy. If using 
Vee's Remote, try to aim for these spots.
If you struggle in Blackouts, use either his Vintage skin or his Default Skin as it makes his light radius very effective in Blackouts as it is easier to see farther. Using any other Skin can make it a bit harder to see in them, with the exception of his Star-Time skin (since his glow is very similar to his default).
Overall, Astro is a great Toon when it comes to Stealth and Support. However, if you like seeing Machines progress quickly, then Connie should be your pick.
Trinket Combinations
Some good Trinket sets for Astro include:
Mobility
- Pink Bow or Dog Plush/Options
- Bow enables Astro to outrun all twisteds before Panic Mode as well as reaching teamates faster (26.9 run speed). Plush is useful if you want to play as a distractor supporter by looping Ranged Twisteds (though it is not required) or luring twisteds to the distractor's location (16.5 walk speed). Here are some options to pair both trinkets with ("with Pink Bow"/"with Dog Plush").
- Vee's Remote or Magnifying Glass, to help with floor progression;
- Sweet Charm, to reduce Nap Time's cooldown (69s);
- Vanity Mirror, to allow you to support during Panic Mode efficiently by being able to outrun every twisted during Panic Mode (35/32.5 run speed);
- Speedy Shoes, to further improve Astro's mobility (28.2 run/17.3 walk speed);
- Thermos, so paired with Well Rested, grants in total +72.5% passive Stamina Regen; etc.
- Ribbon Spool/ Clown Horn
- A combination of the functions of Pink Bow and Dog Plush (27.5 run speed/16.5 walk speed). NEVER actually pair Dog Plush with Pink Bow if you possess all, as the proposed set completely outclasses this combination.
- Bow enables Astro to outrun all twisteds before Panic Mode as well as reaching teamates faster (26.9 run speed). - Astro is designation M-002, with the M likely standing for Main Character.
- Astro's speech sound originates from Deltarune upon entering dark worlds in chapter 2. (This can be seen in this video, but in-game that sound is reproduced many times. Clear version of this sound can be seen in this video)
- Astro has two UGC items, being Astro's Cap and Astro's Head.
- Astro has two off-sale UGC item versions, that being Astro's Cap and Astro's Head.
- This UGC item version can't be released because of the broken UVs whilst Astro’s Head was put offsale for unknown reasons.

- In the official merchandise website, the URL has the words "I'm so glad they're friends!". This implies that they are, indeed, friends with each other.
- They might still be friends as they still talk to each other, even during the Ichor operation, as implied in one of his interactions with Pebble and Teagan, as well as some of the other Toon interactions such as Vee and Sprout.
- Some of the Toons seem to not like that; this is implied in Astro's dialogue with Teagan, as well as possibly being indirectly mentioned in one of Vee and Sprout's interactions.
- According to his dialogue with Connie, he and Dandy often chat about past episodes together. However, Connie finds their conversations boring. Astro appears nervous about certain conversations that Connie may not have observed.
- Qwelver has stated that Astro and Dandy's relationship is not toxic.
- This is also implied in a picture found on the official merchandise website, where Dandy and Astro were looking at stars. This seems to be taking place in the Gardenview Lobby before it was painted and possibly before Gardenview opened.
- It is implied that Astro knows about Dandy's Twisted form, due to Astro's obtainment requirements and Dandy’s dialogue when buying Astro, in addition to his dialogue with Pebble.

- Astro seems to have some sort of control over dreams, as implied by his dialogues with Boxten, Bobette, Rudie, Shelly, and Cosmo.
- While it's true, he might not have full control as he seems to not have a connection to Boxten's nightmares, and didn't know about Cosmo's dream about fire.
- Astro's name is a prefix used to describe stars, celestial bodies, and outer space. He is most likely named Astro because he is a moon.
- He has many dreaming and sleeping motifs in his design, personality, and overall character.
- Him being a moon can tie his design to the night, when many fall asleep.
- His high Stealth and shy nature can be seen as him being quiet, which is something that helps in sleep.
- He dislikes photography around himself, presumably because the flash of a camera would interfere with sleep.
- It's implied that Astro has 4 arms, due to his Twisted Astro version having 4 arms. Tisha's dialogue with Astro heavily supports this implication. However, it's currently unconfirmed.
- There are also a few things that go against this implication, such as the overall appearance difference between Main Character Toons and their Twisted counterparts, Astro having to use magic to turn the valve on machines rather than using his arms, meaning he doesn't have any spare ones to hold his blanket up, and the visual lack of an outline for 4 arms in official art. Although, he might be using his magic to hold it up.
- Astro used to not be able to see Toons Stamina under 50%, but the addition was made in Alpha 4.0.
- Astro used to have 2 in Movement Speed, before being bumped up to 3 Stars in Alpha 2.0.
- Similarly, his Active Ability, Nap Time used to restore 50% Stamina of a user.

- Astro's full name is Astro Novalite, confirmed by Qwelver in a 10/17/2024 stream. Viewers managed to convince Qwelver to reveal his name alongside Twisted Connie's concept art after a tie in a poll debating between the two. Eventually, both reveals were rewarded as Qwelver decided to have fun and let the viewers win the information by guessing Pokémon.
- In addition, it was stated by Qwelver that Astro enjoys to sit down and drink hot chocolate from time to time.
- In the 9/6/2024 QnA Stream, Qwelver was asked if Astro would get a sun counterpart, and Qwelver responded that he already has a sun counterpart, but it is currently unknown who it is. It could however, presumably be Dandy.
- Before its release, Astro's Starry Night skin had a slight model difference where his 'normal eye' was instead looking in the direction of his star eye instead of looking forward like the rest of his models do. The reason for this change is unknown.
- People playing as Astro used to experience chat bubbles being astronomically high above their normal position, especially while using his Star-Time Skin. This is because Roblox included the actual size of Astro's hat (without the mesh) to be part of his height. This is more easily seen in Astro's T-Pose model, where the hat stands straight on Astro’s head.
- Astro is the only Main Character whose requirement is to encounter a specific Twisted other than himself.
- The Stars seen turning the valve in Astro's extraction animation are kept inside his head when walking around, but this might change when his model is optimised.
- It is said by Teagan in an interaction that Astro likes iced tea.
- Currently, Astro and Connie have the highest Stealth in the game.
