It’s been a while since the guidelines have been revised, however from reviewing some other servers, there have been multiple problems with certain people, which is why we are now adding a few new banned topics.

STOMACH BOOK

Stomach book is a known artist, her most popular song being based off of a GIF that contains gore and blood of a minor. She is also allegedly associated with a p-dophile, and dodges any questions about it.

THE COFFIN OF ANDY AND LEYLEY

Basically an inc-st game, which isn’t appropriate for a wiki like this.

MOUTHWASHING

Deals with heavy topics such as SA and quite inappropriate for a wiki that’s for a children’s game.

Just because of an administrator announcing something new, such as banned topics, changes in guidelines, etc, does NOT give you the green light / make it okay for you to go up to administrators and spam ask / spam ping for random pieces of media that isn’t as wide-spread.

If something is genuinely against our guidelines, we will take care of it. Don’t bother admins for things such as this, unless if the media is genuinely disturbing / against Fandom TOS and brought up frequently.

As of today, we have established a new rule that is being added into our guidelines.

Advertising cross-wiki content via links is not permitted. This includes your own wiki. Doing so on your own profile page is fine.

The reason for this guideline is the frequent situations where users would spam links to their own wiki, flooding either our discussion forums, or spam advertise in replies to a post that are unrelated to it. This has been annoyance here for quite a while, and we are implementing this rule to prevent further situations of this happening.

After receiving alert about the issues with this, I now realize 100 was enough, and have decided to stop this early. Again, the event is cancelled, there won’t be a need for anything else.

Also, we recommend not doing anything as chaotic as this, as it will create the same problems.

I would like to let you know that we have added a few more sections to our guidelines, due to recent activity on our wiki.

1. Do not discuss or participate in controversial or sensitive topics.

Pretty self-explanatory, basically more focused on the fact that people have been recently posting about disturbing situations regarding youtubers, developers, admins, etc. We do not want our users to be disturbed by such topics.

2. Do not discuss moderator actions, from within or outside the community. This should be discussed with the respective moderator teams instead.

This rule has been added to prevent cross-wiki drama. We understand that it may be frustrating that a mod has blocked you from another wiki you were active on, but we'd prefer avoiding situations that could lead to the mods in question getting harassed. We do not tolerate any sort of harassment.

There's been a recent situation where 3 of our users have been blocked due to participating in a raid of another wiki, completely unprovoked. We understand that some other wikis may have guidelines that are frustrating to abide, but raiding them is not the appropriate way to ventilate that frustration. We've been tolerant enough to let you rant here on our wiki, and it'd be preferable if you didn't force us to change that.

Raiding wikis is against Fandom TOS, and if users from our wiki do so, we may end up in trouble that would lead to our wiki being possibly deleted. If we find out you are doing so, you will be blocked permanently without a chance of appealing.

Hello everyone! The Dandy's World community is filled with creative fans, whether that be by drawing fanart, animatics, or even real-life projects! The staff team have decided to host a fun event for members of this community, which is to create a mascot for the Dandy's World Wiki!

That's right! This mascot will be occasionally featured in the Wiki, but is not an official character in Dandy's World, neither are they made by Qwelver, just a funny little lad for the Wiki! Of course, with events come prizes! Let's see what you'll receive from submitting...

Submission Rules:

- Your submission must be digital, fullbody, and clear. You may create additional traditional/crafts of your submission as long as the former is fulfilled.

- You may submit multiple entries, but only one of them may be chosen.

- Do not use AI, steal, or trace from other sources (Including existing Toons). Getting caught doing so will bar you from entering entirely.

- Explanation on your submission (Such as why they are designed this way, what inspiration you took from) will grant you a higher chance of being chosen.

- Minor tweaks of your design may be made if you are chosen, but you will still be credited.

- Do not feel discouraged if you think your art is not fit enough to be chosen! We do not choose submissions based on how good an artist's skill level is, but rather, their creativity and design motifs.

As most of you know, there has been a trend on this wiki for a long time where people would post an image of a cake with images of characters they found attractive onto that image.

Whilst somewhat questionable, I didn't think it would lead to anything potetionally harmful, aside from a few weird comments which would be dealt with. This is one of the reasons why this topic is getting banned - Users would leave explicit comments under the posts.

Another reason for this is a recent situation where users would post HMO cake either here or by a link via the Magma website, that contained an image of a child. Even as a joke, this is disgusting and disturbing.

If you ever see a post including a HMO cake, let the user know in the replies that they are a banned topic and report the post so we get notified of it.

We have decided to use talk pages for anyone wanting to add information or to point out a mistake in the dialogues shown in the dialogue templates! This will be a great asset for us to ensure that our information is reliable and up to date, so please do use it when possible. You can find them by going to a dialogue template and heading to the 'talk' section. ^^

When requesting to add a dialogue not in the wiki, please do provide screenshots or video proof instead of text so that we know what you provide is not fabricated.

Despite it being april fools, you are not allowed to vandalize any official pages.

Doing so will lead to a block regardless.

Hoo boy, finally I get to say what I've been posting about.

I'm sure some of you noticed my recent posts where I counted down days till... well, something.

I kept it a secret since I wanted it to be a surprise, even if it meant I'd scare most of you, lol.

When it arrives, would you guys be nice enough to send me screenshot of the new dialogues and send it in this post when you can? ^^' This can help ease the work of finding scraps of dialogue ourselves and we can help update the wiki faster!

Make sure it is the full conversation! I won't accept anything partial or non-screenshots since I won't know if it's an actual dialogue or not.

This counts for the new Toon's dialogues when doing machines etc as well ^^

I might be online a bit and I might add some stuff, but I’m still not gonna be that active. I have limited time to be on the wiki due to my current restrictions and my strict parents, and mental health. Hope you all understand.

I understand loving fanart of the characters to the point that you want to share it further, there's no harm in that. However, I think it should be obvious that if you are gonna use someone elses' art, atleast have the decency of giving credit or link to the original artist.

This announcement is being made due to the fact that there have been recently many cases of people reposting someone else's art without giving any credit or link to the original artist, which is somewhat of a problem. If you don't know who the artist of the art you wanna post is, it's better you don't post it.

That being said, this announcement is also being added to the guidelines.

If you've went to the Google form to appeal for your block, you'll see that the form won't be accepting responses.

No, the form is not getting deleted. I'm just fixing the form since it hasn't been changed since September 2024 :] (Our rules have changed a lot since then, so the form is quite outdated)
