I don’t come here very often, so I’m not sure if someone has already theorized this, but what if Twisteds have something to do with—or are victims of—analog generational loss?
Put simply, generational loss happens when you copy data from one storage item to another multiple times, resulting in increased distortion each “generation” and possibly leaving you with something a bit disturbing to look at/listen to. So, assuming that Twisteds are somehow clones/copies of the original Toons, we can conclude that Dandy may be trying (and failing, or perhaps succeeding, who knows?) to replicate them somehow, which is why he needs (VHS) tapes from us.
Still not sure how ichor would come into play or what would be the motive behind this, but hey, that’s just a theory. A GAME THEOR-
