DANDY’S WORLD BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the regular death is so annoying but i dont think the lethal one is..
I decided to revisit Delilah, since I always felt her mechanics weren't well written. I didn't change the design much, but I added a colored drawing! Fun fact, her mechanics are inspired by @ReleaseTheKraken17 's toonification AU! Check out their AU, it’s really cool!
(Also, uh, guess who just found out the clip tool that lets you color only on the line art. Yeah, I just found that out lol (Thats why the large arm looks weird, I got a bit too excited with it))
TW!! Some blood on the colored drawing (Nothing actually gory, per se, so no guts or anything, but scary implications of gore.)
Spawning:
Delilah spawns rarely after floor 15, similar to Lethal Arthur. While her probability is mostly random, her chances of appearing can be increased if a group chooses to anger Dandy, which happens to be the same way to increase chances for Lethal Arthur.
While rare, players can also increase the founder's chances of appearing by finding a key item on certain levels. The key is black, with a white gem in the center (Note that the key which lies next to the note on one of the normal levels is NOT the key. The key spawns randomly, usually on Golden Floors after floor 10. It has a splash of ichor on the cuts.) While the key is normally used to get into Employee Only rooms, bypassing certain floors and getting into rarer floors not usually found in the level roster, it also increases the chances of human twisteds spawning.
Once a key is picked up, the chances for human twisteds to appear is permanently increased, so use keys wisely.
Delilah has a 100% chance to appear in the secret Basement floor, just like how Arthur is 100% likely to spawn in the Film Hall ([BAD MEMORY]) floor.
Delilah, like other human twisteds, does not contribute to the total twisted count, meaning if 5 twisteds are set to spawn in a level, Delilah will appear as a 6th twisted. Unlike other lethals, she and Arthur are not affected by the floor 50 limitation (Can’t have more than 2 lethals on a single floor until floor 50)
When Delilah spawns, players will hear a faint, muffled laughter before the elevator opens, as well as the sound of church bells and vultures. The text “A bad omen approaches…” may appear, however this has been only recorded if Delilah spawns with another Lethal.
A dim red, faintly static mist will hover across the level, decreasing a player's visual field. The red mist stays, even in a blackout, tinting the blackout a dull red. An ambient sound of thumping, footsteps, vulture calls, and bloodied screams can be heard somewhere beyond the map borders.
If Delilah spawns, there will always be one extra twisted added. Contrary to popular belief Deiliah does not increase the odds of variants. Like most variants, Delilah will normally spawn in Golden Floors.
Mechanics:
Delilah is a tall, lanky humanoid, whose neck and torso have been heavily stretched and warped. She is significantly paler and greyer than her human counterpart, and is missing an arm. Her right arm is significantly longer, similar to Twisted Sprout. Notably, the upper part of her face is missing, replaced by a film reel. She is one of the few twisteds to have blood in her design.
She walks in a wobbly, limping manner, with her legs appearing unstable. She is often compared to a zombie. While walking (Without her disguise on), she has wet, sloppy footsteps, which occur at irregular intervals. She also emits a hacking, choking noise, as if suffocating, and occasional muffled laughter and sobbing. Delilah will leave boot-shaped ichor footprints, as well as small droplets of reddish black ichor wherever she goes.
Interestingly, if players collect Delilah’s research capsules, or are being chased by Delilah, their research will show a random twisted, normally a non-variant. This happens even when players have over 50% research, which is normally when the obscured text goes away (In this game, when players discover a new variant, the text will read Collected 1% ??? Research, until 50% research is achieved.) Because of this, it is recommended to collect all research capsules in the level, since it is impossible to know who is who.
Delilah when fully idle will wander around at a moderate pace, being around the speed of idle Twisted Toodles. However, she does tend to stop and stare into space, slowing her down. However don’t take her lack of movement for granted, as if she is alerted to a space, whether by failed skill check or by seeing you, she can and will travel incredibly quickly. She has a run at around Twisted Flutter (19.2 run speed) (Slightly faster), and a somewhat short attention span at 1.5 seconds (Unless she was wearing a disguise. If so the mimicked twisted’s stats will factor into her initial attention span and speed. Also, if a player has the Marked I debuff, she will have an attention span of 3 seconds). Similar to a ranged attack, Delilah will dash forward rapidly, swinging her large right hand forward. She WILL outspeed you (Her attention will lock whenever she dashes, and her speed will always be faster than whoever is being targeted. The speed changes, so her dash speed is slower if she is chasing someone like Rodger, when compared to her chasing Pebble), however she can only go in a straight line. So, players must escape her by running off to the side when they see her wind up to dash. If she hits a wall, she may stun herself for a few seconds. She can do this dash every 5-15 seconds, with the timing between each dash decreasing the longer she is kept aggroed.
However, Delilah doesn’t just walk idly. She also has two alternative forms which she can take. She can mimic either a twisted, or another player in the party.
Twisted:
This is the most common form she can take. She picks one twisted, usually one which is already on the map, and takes its form. She tends to pick common or uncommon twisteds, and always picks toons which are mobile. She has never taken the form of a main twisted. A sound of cracking bones and a wet sloppy-like sound will play if you are close by when she either takes a new form or returns to her idle. She typically does this if she is left alone for too long.
When she is mimicking another twisted, she lacks any abilities of their normal counterpart (So if she were Goob, she could not use a ranged.) Despite this, she may make sounds as if she were using an ability, in order to get players to hide behind cover. Interestingly, she has been known to mimic Glisten, and in that case, Delilah will appear as a near-shattering Glisten (So, the meter is almost filled, and Glisten is about to break.) Delilah, if she sees a player, will try to chase down the player, although she lacks a chase stinger like other twisteds if she is playing as a docile twisted. It will look as if Glisten is slowly walking towards you.
Delilah is notorious for being quite stealthy, with her lacking many audio or visual cues while in this form. However, her primary indication that she is a fake twisted is her footprints; unlike other, normal twisteds, she leaves small footprints and drips of reddish/black ichor wherever she walks. However, this is hard to see, especially if it's a blackout or if she’s walking over a dark floor. If Deiliah is about to reveal her true form, the twisted’s face will gain Delilah’s signature grin.
If Delilah spots you, her spotted audio will be slightly deeper, and linger for slightly longer.
While if she gives chase, she will behave normally for whatever twisted she is mimicking, if the player gets too close, loses her attention, or keeps her agroed for more than 10 seconds, she will snap, breaking out of her mimicked form. If players were hiding from behind cover, she will stop moving after she loses line of sight, before abruptly dashing towards the player’s hiding spot. Players who are targeted by Delilah will gain the status ailments: Marked I (Which will be discussed later), and the Panicked III (Boosted speed, loss of stealth, slightly blurred vision). Panicked will last for 20 seconds, Marked duration varies.
Delilah, when breaking out of her mimicked form, will immediately dash forward towards whoever player she was agroed to (Momentarily ignoring stealth until after the initial dash is done).
She will naturally leave this disguise during Panic Mode, or after around 2 minutes.
Toon:
Delilah mimicking a toon is a much rarer phenomena, but often far more dangerous due to it being a less well understood mechanic. From what is known, if a player misses a skill check or gets seen by Delilah, the player will receive a debuff known as Marked I. Marked I doesn’t seem to have any initial effect beyond extending Delilah’s attention span, unless Delilah chooses to mimic a toon. If Deiliah mimics a toon, the only toons she can mimic are marked toons.
Marked toons that Delilah takes the form of will find themselves unable to speak, with their chat and sticker features locked until Delilah loses interest in them. Unless players are in a voice call, the ability for the affected individual to communicate will be severely limited.
If Delilah mimics a toon, she will find a location, often in small, tight areas, or places with items of interest like medkits and other rare items. She will take the form of whomever she is mimicking, and proceed to type in chat. Delilah will use the exact nametag as the affected player. Delilah will also use stickers in order to help players find her.
Typically, she states the following, often with slight variation and even spelling mistakes:
“Guys med”
“Anyone need a med?”
“Found a band!”
“I’ll sticker, found heal”
(These conversations can also be about other important items too, but healing items seem the most common)
Interestingly, Delilah seems able to read the chat, since she will respond to any text with the phrases “No” “You have” “You take” “You did this.” or “You’re not them”, with the following variations:
“Don’t worry I’m full rn, you go ahead and take”
“I’m fine”
“No I’m good I’ll sticker.”
“Someone else should take.”
“I’m not lying!”
“why would you accuse me of trying to hurt you?”
If players continue to refuse, she will begin to get aggressive:
“Stop looking at me like I’ve done something wrong!”
“I only wanted to help…”
“I’M NOT HURTING YOU JUST TAKE THE #### MED”
“I couldn’t tell them. The ugly truth of it all would have killed them.”
“I’m a disgusting human being…”
“I can’t wake up”
“I can’t breath I can’t see I can’t feel”
“I can feel the blood in my veins, worming, scratching, writhing inside like maggots.”
“I tried to scream, but not a sound escaped from the basement.”
“Then she ###########################################################”
All the while, Delilah will continue to occasionally spam stickers, often of ones regarding healing, although at some points, especially if Delilah has been annoyed, an unknown sticker will be shown. Its chat tag is: “IKEPTSCREAMINGBUTNOONEHEARDME”, and appears to resemble Delilah (Pre-twisted), from the chest up. Her face is covered by a black square, and ichor stains her neck and chest.
If a player finds Delilah, she will appear as whatever toon she is mimicking. While she does not move much beyond her set point where the med or other item is, she will spin around, and acknowledge a player if they are nearby (Even if they are from behind cover, implying that Delilah CAN see players normally, but just chooses not to pursue them)
If a player gets close enough, or appears in her line of sight, the toon will adopt Delilah’s grin, and will then morph into Delilah, with the same mechanics as listed above.
Delilah will stop taking a toons form if she is agroed, naturally during Panic Mode/after 2 minutes, or if she is angered. Once she leaves a toons form, whomever’s form was taken will lose the Marked I debuff (The debuff is also lost if the player leaves the floor)
Because of this behavior, it is recommended to decide on a codeword if Delilah spawns as a way to affirm if someone’s statements are real.
During Panic Mode, she will drop all attempts to disguise herself, and begin to pursue with a moderately increased speed. The cooldown speed for her charge decreases. She has also been seen running towards the elevator, even without any players leading her there.
If she catches a player, she will instantly kill them, grabbing the toon by the head before crushing their skull. Interestingly, afterwards players will be treated to a unique game over screen, which shows a small figure standing in a dark, rocky field, with ruins surrounding them, and a black and red sky. As the dull, throbbing music rises to a credendo, the text “I can’t wake up” is continuously repeated, until all movement abruptly stops, the red and black sky turning to a single eye, and the figure in the center missing their head and left arm. After this, the game over continues as normal.
Twisted Research:
“The mother of all toons, she strove to be something more than her flesh. A god, glorious and radiant, life crawling in her wake. Hands, delicate, pushing clay to her will. Yet, in the end, her creations tore through her, leaving her an effigy to her past dreams. A heretic, reborn and ascended. This time she shall be known, rightfully hailed and respected.
In dreams she lies, subdued, waiting.”
Trinket: Ichor Stained Gloves:
“‘A little bit of danger is a great motivator!’”
When on the last heart before death, increase all stats by 50%. The effect goes away on healing or death.
Misc Facts:
Delilah’s similar appearance to Twisted Sprout may be a reference to Sprout being one of the first toons to disappear, as well as Delilah’s rocky relationship with Sam, Sprouts handler.
If Delilah spawns in the Basement secret level, she will have an entirely different pathing AI when compared to other twisteds. She tends to visit various work stations, with her animations implying her pantomiming working.
Delilah’s center film reel head glows during a blackout.
If Delilah encounters the physical handlers (Shanon, Sam, Austin, or Devan), she will slowly follow them. She even has a few animations where she tries to touch their shoulders, which causes most of the handlers to slink backwards. Delilah burns her hand on Sam.
If Delilah attacks you while Veronica is also in play, Veronica will cause Delilah to falter, allowing players a chance to escape. This happens only once per floor.
Delilah will avoid walking in Arthur’s range. The two will linger on each other for an extended period of time. Arthur may attempt to reach out to Delilah, and attempts to speak, although like his normal dialogue, it is too scrambled to understand.
If Delilah and Demi-Dandy spawn on the same floor, Dandy will avoid Delilah, and Delilah’s normal audio will be primarily replaced by weeping and agitated screaming.
During the last 3 seconds of Panic Mode, Delilah will book it to the elevator door, and attempt to claw her way inside. However, the door slams on her hand, and causes her to retreat. However, as the elevator goes down, players can hear what sounds like weeping.
Interestingly, Delilah has unique dialogue options while she is disguised as a Toon. These secret lore messages are case sensitive, and rather hard to find. Because they count as angering her, players can only usually ask 1 or 2 questions per floor.
Secret Messages (Q is for question, A if for Delilah’s answer):
Q: What is Gardenview?
A: Gardenview is a gimmicky museum park… thingy. Arthur suggested the idea to me back when we found [REDACTED]. He got to accomplish his dreams, I got to study [REDACTED]. Really it was a match made in heaven.
Q: Where are we?
A: Below. In HER domain. The Gardenview we knew has been dead and gone for years. Now all that remains is this rotting husk of a place.
Q: How long have we been here?
A: You? A few hours at best. Me? I reckon a few years. Maybe longer. Time doesn’t pass normally here.
Q: What is outside?
A: Hopefully the rest of the world, but honestly, everything could be gone and we wouldn't know a difference.
Q: Who is Arthur?
A: A coworker… and a friend I didn’t deserve.
Q: Who is Delilah?
A: A pathetic failure who couldn’t stop the inevitable. A horrible human being who is a disappointment to her father, and the reason why everyone here is trapped.
Oh… yeah, also me.
Q: What happened to everyone?
A: We’ve been ascended, kindly taken into the loving arms of an incomprehensible eldritch deity. The other guests? Well, lambs to the altar.
Q: How are you talking?
A: Let's keep that a secret, ok? I don’t want HER knowing I can access this. Can’t even have my body in peace, so I gotta fight for what I can get.”
Q: Who is MOTHER?
A: DON’T DON’T DON’T DON’T DON’T DON’T DON’T DON’T DON’T DON’T DON’T
Q: How do we escape?
A: For the sake of the continued survival of the human race, we’d better hope we can’t. Anything made of ichor can’t escape Gardenview’s grounds, and I’d like to keep it that way.
Q: What are Variants?
A: The original toons. Everything else afterwards is just a convincing copy.
Q: What was Project Prometheus?
A: A dumb attempt at saving myself and everyone else in Gardenview. You know… to take the fire from the gods, but prevent the gods from getting mad I guess. Problem is, I flunked mythology class.
I guess it did work, though, just not before killing everyone in Gardenview.
Q: What happened on 9/20/1984?
A: SHE came to Earth.
Q: Who is Sam?
A: I wish I wasn’t so harsh to them, they’ve gone through so much. They didn’t deserve to be here, just like everyone else. Really, I was proud to learn how they kept the emergency exits open for as long as they did. Truly a noble, if silent soul.
Q: Who is Veronica?
A: Nice girl. She was shy, but dedicated to fixing tech. I would often see her early in the morning, since she part timed at the arcade.
I sometimes still see her around… bits and pieces of her… that is.
Q: Who is Shanon?
A: She loved to surf, you know? She is a good person, deep down. What SHE did to her is horrific, turning such a determined, lovely human being into that monstrosity.
Q: Who is Austin?
A: A music major, funnily enough. We hired him since Astro really seemed to like him. Guess I don’t blame him, if Astro were a person, Austin would be him. Shy, withdrawn, but a well spoken and delicate man when you got to know him. If you listen closely, you can still hear him playing piano. I wonder if stretched fingers make it easier, or harder to play?
Q: Who is Devan?
A:
…
…
A good man.
I can see why Arthur liked him so much.
He tried… he tried so hard to follow in my footsteps. To stop this mess, once and for all.
And yet, he failed.
Q: Who is Dandy?
A: A traitor. A gullible, gullible traitor.

PLEASE TELL ME I NEED TO KNOW IM VERY LAZY AND LIKE TO PROCRASTINATE.
Recently, i joined a normal run as flutter (I was a distractor). During a run, rodger left in floor 1 even yatta and cosmo left in floor 2. Other yatta died to looey in floor 7. Then, we got pebble on floor 11 and shelly in floor 12. Toodles died to poppy in floor 14. After that, i died to boxten in floor 17 blackout with astro being the last (He is cooked)
Part 2 is out now!:

{TW! Mentions of getting torn apart and death!}
Shanon looked at a drawing she made of Shelly. She missed her so much. Ever since Gardenview closed, she wasn’t able to see her again.
She got a text message from Delilah. It told her to come back to Gardenview. This might have been great news, because she could see Shelly again!
When she got to Gardenview, she noticed that the other Toon Handlers had came. They all got the same message. But Delilah and Arthur weren’t there, as expected.
So they split up to find them. Shanon and Sam went together, Austin and Veronica went together too, and Devan went alone.
Down below, Shanon and Sam became aware of the Twisteds. They were careful. Until…
Shanon was doing a machine, when she suddenly heard growling. She turned around.
…
Shelly?
What happened to her?
Shanon made the mistake of trying to comfort the former shell of the Toon. She almost got killed.
Where was Sam?
In a final attempt to get away, she tried to run. But she ended up near the edge of the Ichor machine. She was cornered.
She begged and pleaded for Shelly to stop. But instead, she got her legs ripped off and was thrown into the machine. The pain only got worse.
Eventually, she woke up. Somewhere else. And she woke up. Feeling different.
PINGS:
Recently, i joined normal run as toodles. Pebble is the distractor, but he died in floor 1. Cosmo died in floor 2 and boxten died in floor 4. Then, we got pebble blackout in floor 7. 1 people died (which is the other boxten) to him. In floor 8, brightney left and goob died to poppy in floor 13 blackout. Later, i died to cosmo in floor 15 because when i attempt to escape twisteds, i ran to cosmo
you can’t do machines in the open in peace and you’ll keep getting spotted by a twisted. You are most likely to see another twisted (or more) roaming when trying to hide to get out of their sight. If you get tired of being spotted, you will SOMETIMES be forced to wait for your opportunity in an afk spot. It makes the twisteds EVERYWHERE and so yeah, if you do the machines in the open in peace twisteds will keep spotting WAY you more often because that’s where twisteds roam the most and i got FRUSTRATED… you will need to fail a skillcheck or use airhorn in order to lure twisteds away so you can do machines in peace. Sometimes it doesn’t work. The floor will take you over 15 minutes to finish unless you died. if it was a blackout that would be worse.
Carrot is a placeholder name as of right now. This is a redraw of an OC I made back in April 2025 (a week before the event).

Extraction Speed: 5 (the stars were too big to fit in the tiny purple corner)
2 + 2 = 4 + 3 = 7 + 4 = 11 + 5 = 16
Or alternatively; 2+4+3+2+5=16
Ability
Active: Give a 33% speed boost to a chosen Toon.
Passive: On 1 heart, gain a 50% speed boost (2+ stars). Effect wears off upon being healed.
Essentially: Become a Looey, but better and also less riskier because you have a smaller hitbox (you’re smaller than Pebble) and you’re faster. I’m planning a drawback for this though, so they don’t outclass Looey like Vee does to Brightney.
Twisted
They’re the smallest Main twisted, similar in size to T. Coal and Flyte. Also, they are still distractable (I think) unlike T. Pebble (who needs a lot of skill to actually distract).
In blackouts, they become fast but as a result, have lower attention spans. Additionally, they see less. This makes them harder to distract, but they’re easier to take off and less of a burden on the team when roaming.
(The background is of a jerboa with a long tail)
Based off a tiger. I was thinking of an ability similar to an ambush, where they get a 10% speed boost for 3 seconds when seeing a player.
So here is how it’d work.
Upon sighting the player in this environment..
Normal (and in Blackout Panic with Suppression card) = 2.37+
So? A whopping 26.07 Speed. This means they would be the fastest Twisted in the game if they were ever added.
Panic (and in a normal Blackout) = 2.4+
So? A whopping 26.4. This means they’re still holding that sweet, sweet little 1st place, but they’re coming to you faster.
Normal suppression = 2.25+
So? A 24. The card doesn’t work for 3 seconds. You are screwed to a blatant ripoff of Coal chasing you down while you run towards the elevator.
Now I think about it, I might nerf this ability.
Well... Dandy's world isn't scary. Don't get me wrong, i like Dandy's World. I know it's mostly because of the cartoonish look or something like that. But really, i think Twisteds should be scarier. If it's called "Horror", then they should be atleast trying to be terrifying? Like the only thing that makes you a bit shocked is when you didn't expect to see them. And that's all. I saw a lot of redesigns that makes twisted in more than like 10 times scarier than the original? I just want them to be more scarier, atleast a bit.

So, I am gonna try to redesign twisteds to make them some... Spookier than original ones but still staying with original abilities.
I know i made this design for horror asym but i think it also can be a great redesign.
So, who is gonna be the first? You can give suggestions.
